The 400k should be invested same as transfer fees would.. to keep the club going! ie. rather than sell a good player for 300k we could earn the 300k or more by letting him do his job Motherwell FC is a business and every business wants to grow and succeed. Selling your assets keeps you a float but it wont let you expand and grow! why think backwards when you can think forwards! we have a great youth system in place that produces a lot of good players, we are not in the same desperate situation that we were in and we now can keep and develop the players longer. The club is moving forward and has came along way.. their is no reason to start moving backwards now!

@finaly if we do well and win all 4 games going to play offs that is 400k roughly + gate receipts etc sooo.. pretty decent little boost their, their is the possibility of us playing a big club in Europe obviously! being in Europe = good for club selling players who are capable of getting their = bad especially if its for 200k etc... @andrew being realistic is what's wrong with Scottish football! do you think everyone thought Wallace was being realistic when he invaded England

sooo much doom and gloom can't be good..... if everyone was more positive more people would go to the games/show interest! we are in Europe! we look much much better right now than we did at this point last season... we really should be happy and positive going into this season

use the money from Europe to invest in the future, keeping good players etc so we can qualify for Europe on merit? + European football raises the profile of the club, bigger crowds, more games, bigger teams coming to fir park.. more money.. tv rights.. sponsorship.. etc selling all your good players just is not practical! wining stuff and competing is!

Well.. 90K for wining a Europa Game in QR1,2,3 and then 100k for play offs then 1,000,000 for group stages (i think) Finish 5th last season not sure what its worth but I would imagine more than finishing out of the top 6!

Championship teams have huge squads and their is competition for place! At Motherwell its not the same! I think although talented he wont be able to keep consistent enough yet to hold down a place their. If he stays and guides Motherwell to Scottish cup Glory this season though... then its a different story

Nothing to do with resources, just playing in Europe and if doing well in the SPL ie if we can get third again then your going to get noticed alot more This just proves the point! Leaving SPL is a bad idea if you want to get an international career! stick around and play every week and get better, Scotland would have so many good players if they hadn't be lured away by money then left on the benches.. As for group stage qualification... depending on the draw we could get a team that we could sneak past. Its not impossible and any team that we get draw against the lads will give it a go. I am fairly confident we will get to the play-offs and then after that we will have every chance of the group stages.

Its more likely to happen as a Motherwell player than a championship or league player, if Motherwell can hold on to their talented players, and if we can somehow get to the group stages of the Europa League it will give us a huge cash boost and I can't think of anyone better than Craig brown and Archie to take us forward! Have we offered him a new contract!? I don't see why we have to sell him tbh! He wants to progress his career etc but no one really seems interested in him and if he is realised on a free then he most likely will end up in the championship! He is only 23(?) and still lots of time! if he signs on here for a few more years... dose well.. then he will probably get a move to the premiership, Scotland call up.. he is good enough! That way Motherwell can also make a lot lot more money from him!

Well they need to come at us and score so they will be more exposed than last Thursday! I can see us getting an early goal then they will have no choice but to push even further up and then the flood gates will open and well will be cruising to Norway
