Welcome aboard mate.I'm quite new to the forum. There simply isn't a club like it. I had a soft spot for the well when i was back home in wales. I met a motherwell lass when i come up for a game and now iv been here 8 years. I wouldn't swap this club for the world. Once you start to come to games Mfc will get a unexplainable hold over you. I can guarantee you if we lift the cup i will end up greeting like a girl. Before you know it you will be as passionate and loyal as the rest of us. I think someone should contact the relevant people ie the police and sfa to see if its going to be allowed before taking money off people at the ground as you wont be able to to give them there cash back if it goes tits up. I also think it maybe better to keep this one for the final and do something more tried and tested for the semi. One more thing. Would it not be cheaper if they were just claret or amber instead of claret and amber? These are just my opinions and i will support you no matter what.

Leeann you need to put a claim on this town and county. You wouldn't know motherwell had a spl club. Iv asked a lot of motherwell fans i know that don't go to many games and the main reasons they give me are, 1.To expensive for the quality of football on offer 2 they didn't even know motherwell were playing. If you plaster this town with posters etc telling the people the great deal of £10 a ticket for the dundee united game you will get many more bums on seats. Get posters in chippy's, bus stops, shops up the street. Make wee leaflets and get folk to hand them out. Its up to you to create a buzz for games like this. I will happily offer my free time doing these things for you and i'm sure other fans will too. Mfc is to quiet Leeann. You need to get more into peoples faces.

..............motivating the players. To get them up for games like inverness and st mirren. Its fair enough saying they get payed so they should be up for every game but they aren't are they? They were well up for celtic and fought for every ball but when it comes to inverness we were back to square one, where some of the players looked like they didn't even want to be there. Imogen they went into every game with the same mindset as they did v Celtic.

It may not be relevant to this thread but i thoroughly enjoyed that game last night. It had everything. People saying it was an embarrassment to the spl are talking shite. I had to leave early at the st mirren game (half time) and as they let me out there was a old man stood there quite upset. I asked him if he was OK and he said "the bus was late and now they wont let me in" he said "iv been following motherwell for 40 years through thick and thin all over Europe" He also had a season ticket and they still would have none of it after i pointed all this out to them. Anyway me and the old boy walked around the other side to the main stand at the gates near the ticket office and called some official looking bloke over. He wasn't Happy and told the old chap to go back to the east stand and he will sort it out for him. Do the stewards get any sort of training? do they make rules up as they go along? If that's how they treat the faithful how are the club supposed to attract new people to fir park? PS. totally unrelated but i once knew a lad who was a steward at fir park. He hated motherwell fc and was a loyalest rangers fan in the extreme. I used to live near him and he would boast about how he would make motherwell fans look like to fools they are and get payed for it. he would say most of the stewards were rangers fans.

Wales mun en it boyo. in footballing terms its motherwell for me all the way. Us welsh dont have much love for the national football team even though we had 70,000 + at a lot of our home games in the late 90s (made us the best supported nation in Europe.i bet you didn't know that did you) everyone has given up these days. The last home game against England though (the one where we booed god save the queen louder than you) there were 400,000 requests for tickets. So in football for me its motherwell.
