It's got fuck all to do with the number of fans coming through the gates, the serious money comes from the TV companies end of, and they won't give us the same or any more money if they aren't getting their minimum of 4 old firm games a year. Like it or not that is what these companies are interested in. This romantic notion of 14/16/18 teams playing each other twice being the nirvana that will rescue Scottish football by all of a sudden being better for football and the quality of football and the fans will come flooding back is just utter shite. The fans will only come back if the product on the park is worth watching and there is some exceitement back on the park and this will take some decent amounts of cash to get some decent players up here again. The media companies couldn't give a shit about Scottish football or the state of the game up here, they are in business to make money and like it or not this is mostly generated by the old firm as that is what the majority of the population in Scotland (unfortunately), the UK and the rest of the world want to watch. It's just the unfortunate shite economic reality. The SFA and other teams in the league realise this it's about time that the fans got their heads out of their arses and realised this as well.

Appreciate what you are saying, and it doesn't exactly excite me either, but if you look at it objectively the guy has done amazing things with Raith and fuck all money. Which is exactly what he will have if he comes to Fir Park.

Thought that Neil Doncaster came across really well, very articulate and able to put across the reasoning behind the Henry McLeish report and recommendations in a very coherent manner. It makes a lot of sense as to what they are trying to do, just hope that it gets the nod by the teams and we can get moving. At last there seems to be a groundswell of opinion throughout Scottish football from the fans, to the clubs and the people in the SFA and SPL that we have to change things now before our game dies on it's arse for good. Just hope that vested interests are not allowed to get in the way. Not all of the plans will suit every team and some of it Motherwell won't like but it's time to suck it up and do what is best for Scottish football and not just one club. Will be very interesting to see how the vote goes on Monday.

He didn't make Reynolds have a mind fuck and make a total baws of defending for the first goal, and I'm not taking about him getting into Randolph's way, he should have humped the ball out of the park rather than trying to be a smart arse trying to header and control the ball on in the box. He also didn't cause Craigan to have an absolute shocker as well, and it did look like a penalty to me, he did make the most of it but it was a penalty.
