  1. Jesus Chris, Deja vu or what, another thread turns to rat shit. Give it a feckin rest eh! guys this shit it is just plain boring. Aye, welcome back TL.
  2. Craig - 1 - Do you have any inside info or personal opinions on the much lauded Scottish football reviews that have taken place over the years, Ernie Walker, Henry Mcleish etc. Why do they never make the light of day, never make any recommendations or improvements in the game and we are left to continually go over old ground when we don't make it yet again to an international tournament and our teams get pumped in Europe. 2- If your were asked would you manage Scotland again? Chris - 1 - Just wanted to quickly say well done to you on your eulogy about Phil at his funeral it was spot on. 2 - How did it feel to put the nut into Henrik Larsson at Phil O'Donnel's tribute game at Parkhead and fulfil a dream that this Motherwell fan has long held. Mark - If you were a player in the current economic climate, how do you think that you would have been able to manage to finance the mental clothes that you used to wear. Jim - 1 - The press in Scotland seem to have managed to get on your wick pretty quickly in your time up here, did you find that a surprise? and are the press down South any different. 2 - Where do you see your self and the club in the next couple of years (hopefully you are still here) 3 - You seem to like to keep tabs on players that you like the look of in different leagues down south, have you started doing the same in Scotland?
  3. You must be joking - he is feckin awful.
  4. I remember being in the main stand shitting myself that we were about to get relegated then Van de Gaag rattles that one. Was it £400,000 that we spent on him?? - they were the days. Anyone know what/if we got for him when he left?
  5. After giving him it tight last week I must add that Yassin was a lot better as well (in the first half anyway). Good crosses getting in good, dangerous positions going forward. Unfortunately returned to his usual in the second half, out of position, awful crosses, tried to be too smart and gave the ball away and poor tackling. I agree that he is a good outlet for the ball at times but unless he can get past a player with purely his pace he can't beat a man and inveriably gives the ball away. If/when he does get past anyone though his crossing is total mince. But plenty of other guys helped contribute to us dropping two points so it's not just him. And I wish that, just once, he would stop a fuckin cross going into our box...
  6. After having calmed down a bit, I have totally mixed feelings about the game. I thought it was a good game to watch and thoroughly enjoyed the first half and we played some decent stuff. Even at the start of the second half it looked promising but don't know exactly what happened to change the game, whether it was Murphy getting subbed or them getting a man sent off but it all went a bit pear shaped. We starting making lots of mistakes, giving the ball away, started to look nervous and generally just stepped back off of them and stopped playing, allowing them the opportunity to press us until the inevitable happened, it was coming for around 20mins before they actually scored. Contrary to what other people seem to think I though that Lasley made a big difference when came on and I would definitely play him ahead of Forbes who has done absolutely nothing in the last few games. Jim Gannon can see exactly same as what we are seeing, he knows that it need to be addresses. After seeing it happen in the last few games though it would be good if had been sorted out by now though. But all in all 5th in the league (although it really should be much higher), I'll take that, as I would have taken a point before the game. C'mon the Well.
  7. Well done to MFC, its only a few tickets (christ we have enough empty seats at every game), an excellent gesture. Yes I know that it is there choice, but there aren't many jobs around where you get paid a crap wage and have the chance of not making it back home alive or in one piece and are away from there nearest and dearest for months / years on end. Good on them they have my full and unreserved support, and good on the club.
  8. No shit!! - cheers mate but I got that - I'm no biting I'm afraid.
  9. No other reason that if he's praying to someone to help him play better then he must be as shit at praying as he is at playing. Nice try though SD.
  10. And what would that be exactly?
  11. And what would that be exactly?
  12. It's not that difficult SD, he only manages to do two things consistently, pray before the game and play shite. Does that clear it up for you?
  13. Reynolds had an off day at that game, Yass is consistently piss poor, in fact that is the only thing that he has consistently done since he arrive - pray before the game starts and be pish. That's right SD we are all "spoilt" none of us have supported the "Well for years and years and seen some really poor players pass through the team in that time or watch dismal performances. We all appreciate the football that we have been lucky enough to see the past couple of seasons but when someone is playing really badly, we have the right on an internet forum to voice that opinion, and its up to you whether you agree or not. We want the best for Motherwell. end of story, we don't expect 11 world beater on the park just competent guys who have some football ability got forbit we would actually feel the need to critisise someone who has been playing very poorly. Continual improvement is just that moving on guys who aren't very good for someone who is better.
  14. I'll help you put it on, I bet that it's a duffle coat as well. He was one of my MOTM at the h**s game as well. It doesn't mean that he hasn't been utter shite ever since.
  15. Oh ya cow! You sure know how to bring a man down to size. Ya fucker..
  16. Nobody said that Gabnnon wasn't doing a good job but he will also sign some guys who turn out to be shit, and Yassin is the first contender. So you are really saying, even with our budget, we can't find someone better and more solid than him at right back? What exactly does he give us at the moment apart from a heart attack every time he goes near the ball. The guy is a bomb scare.
  17. I've got a full tank of petrol, I'll fuckin drive him back down there tonight.
  18. Spot on, apart from maybe one or two games he has been fuckin murder. Fast but can't get past anyone and can't cross the ball to save himself. Passing - always takes the wrong option and gives the ball away when he is totally out of position and puts us right in the shit. Out of position defending and tries to rely on his pace far too much to get back, other guys spend most of there time covering for him. Of all the guys we have on loan, he can get his coat and get to fuck as I am concerned a total liability. Whoever he prays to at the start of the game isn't listening, nothing personal Yassin but get to fuck back to Charlton, I can see why they don't want you. If it wasn't for Ruddy we would have got pumped today. Everytime they got near our box I thought they were going to score, second to every ball and shite defending, come on JG sort them out for fuck sake. Against 10 men again and we always looked second best and the most likely team to lose a goal.

    Aberdeen

Hats off to the guy he definitely knows how to use the press. But he is so full of shit when he says that he would still be with us if the side hadn't been broken up. Obviously no confidence in himself to do a Gannon and re-build the team and play some of the talented young guys that he so obviously ignored while he was here. Then he playes the what a martyr and right good guy I am card "I jumped ship to help my friends at Motherwell and save them some dosh". Go fuck yerself. He's a feckin spindoctor not a football manager. He also has a long term plan for Aberdeen - god help them.

    Hearts

Much more like it today. Lots of contenders and really difficult to choose. Ruddy didn't have much to do but what he did have to do he did it well, gives so much confidence to the defence and the rest of the team. Hutch is an excellent player and I think that we will really struggle to keep a hold of him long term, Saunders apart from some wayword passes was great - absolutely superb in the air, Yassin much better but still needs to be more confidents to get past a player he definitely has the pace. Coke, Hately, Forbes much better. Jim O'Brien - what can I say excellent as usual and other teams must hate playing against him his touch and trickery on the ball are what we go to football for and want to see. Reynolds - how good is he when he gets his head down and actually runs at players. Sutton and Jutkiewicz up front did really well today. But for me Jutkiewicz was the pick of all of them and I'm starting to see why Everton paid a fair bit of cash for him. Good in the air, holds up the ball well and puts a real shift in. But well done to all of the guys and of course Jim Gannon. Not complaining but how piss poor and disinterested did the Jam Tarts look.
  21. As soon as I saw the excellent numbers that had travelled through I thought, oh shit!! From the first 20mins it looked like only one team was going to win, they did their homework and put in a real shift in closing us down at every opportunity knackering out passing game, and they were also able to take their chances when they came. What the fuck is Saunders and Yass all about on the right Saunders saunters up to Yass waits until he is marked and tries to pass the ball to him and guess what loses the ball. Happened so many feckin times it was murder to watch. Jim, Yass is not a right midfielder get him back at right back. Rest of them didn't get their finger out until the second half and even then it was piss poor. Positives - good to see big Hutch back, got to be him and Saunders at central defense IMO, Big Juke up front put a shift in as well and, if only he had scored it might have been a different result but I somehow doubt it. Stephen Craigen - top man, but I absolutely shat myself every time he was anywhere near the ball tonight, opposed to being a steadying influence in the team, it pains me to say, he was a total liability tonight.
  22. Unfortunately not he legged it before a couple of us managed to set about him, then the Police arrived, perfect timing as usual.
  23. Our bus was there as well, what an absolute shithole of a place the East End of Glasgow is, god help the guys from the Commonwealth games who'll be staying around there in 2014. I managed to get a punch in the face from one of the dirty rat faced tinks of the great unwashed after the game, just as well my tetanus jab is up to date.
