Dean Brill in goals for Leyton Orient today, Craig Clay also playing in a 4-1 win over 'high flying' Sutton Utd. Orient still only 1 place off a second relegation. Crowd of 4200 though even at that level Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

Understand where you are coming from and its not an easy call...remember if he goes for nothing there is no add on and if we are seen to be 'unreasonable' this time after (quite rightly) knocking back Aberdeen's offer it affects the selling pitch we make for players with potential to come here and move on for bigger money. I reckon the club have weighed it all up and will internally have a 'trigger' figure set where they feel it beneficial to sell on Jan. Reading Robbo's comments today it does appear they are setting expectations he is going and sending out that signal to interested parties. There is also the possibility they have kept Moult 'sweet' after the Adeen knock back by saying he can go in January. All conjecture. I trust Robbo/Flow to get it right. Tend to agree Busta I would bite your hand off for 250k plus add ons, especially now as he is out injured for a bit
-
Agree re Dunne despite his passing issues, Newell may depend on injury recovery and the fact Sid has moved up to fringes of first team may well indicate Robbo sees something there. More cover needed for central defence (whether or not Hartley tied down) think Newell may have been brought in to develop in background as potential Moult replacement but injury has got in the way. Still think Fisher has got something to offer Will be an intetesting window, am sure plans are in place to cover various scenarios Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

Totally agree, popped up Monday for first time, nice guys, good craic, and great fun. Hardest thing is to pass to feet and not run!. Sadly can't go back next week but look forward to the restart in 2018. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

Brilliant press conference and also from young Alan Campbell proving to be equally adept at avoiding the blatant attemptsvto stir it up Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk -

Its funny Dave I found myself thinking along these lines last night. He got subbed almost immediately after his booking. He has regressed this season, thought he was terrific last season but seems slower now in both thought and execution. Is captaincy weighing too heavily and inhibiting him or is it Hartley's big personality and massive influence on the team, maybe way wide of the mark on both but its a recurring thought, especially when i saw Hartley geeing him up in the Hibs game. I believe centre half is his best position, he seems to need too long on the ball in midfield and teams are targetting that. We are also short on cover there especially given Kipre and Hartley are racking up a few bookings. Be interesting how this pans out. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk

Cooper bar i have no issue with, other teams fans go in there and when i was there last night there were no problems as far as I could see and it was still predominately Mwell. Main stand I do have an issue with. They should have been at the other end with a shite view through dirty glass panels and seperate catering point to ensure mwell fans at the game could feel comfortable in their own ground. It also concentrates their support at one end of the ground rather than a 'stereo'effect on noise. A significant moment for me in recent years was cutting back the Rangers allocation in the play off game. That set a defiant standing up for ourselves tone that fans and I think players responded to. The team and manager did do us proud last night, but I think the club are in a difficult position in reacting to the blatant unfairness being heaped on us from referees and media alike. I understand the demand to 'call it out' and make a real fuss but we all know how that will be portrayed media wise and does anyone think it would make any difference with the muppets that run the game here. We do not want to be seen as infected with the paronoia associated with Celtic and I think our manager played a post match blinder last night as the easiest thing to do was bleat about the penalty which might have made us all feel a bit better at the time but he showed far more class than his odious counterpart who i am coming to detest more with each passing day. The club needs the players focussed in the correct manner and i have no doubt the manager (behind closed doors) is using these decisions in the right way with the players, and highlighting the performance of our team in the media rather than give them the frothing at the mouth headline they are looking for to then beat him up with in the coming days. It is ironic then that at the time we have a team, manager, and club setup to be so positive about I find myself for the second time in a few days utterly depressed and so angry with the game in Scotland. A sycophantic, compliant media, referees who are incompetent, easily influenced, and non accountable, and those running the game subservient blazers. It does make you think 'whats the point' but I'll get over it, to paraphrase from the other bigot brother we don't walk away. A final word on the odious Rodgers. He says in the media we appear to be angry about everything. Fooking right we are but that is nothing to how they would react if the boot was on the other foot. And Brendan next time you are up against a team with squillions more resource and better players, place a call to Robbo, he will show you how to set things up so you are competitive and dont get humped by 5 - 7 goals. Rant over! Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk

Agreed.... still seething about it but we and the team do need to move on and channel that sense of injustice properly. Big test for Robbo in handling all this properly. Given the emotion he was obviously feeling he handled post match really well am sure he will have players in correct frame of mind for Wednesday. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk

Had a lot of Scotland U21 duty recently I just think they are being careful with him. I do think he will start on Wednesday Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk

Sorry but giving a player his first start in a cup final and dropping one of our most influential players would be wrong and won't happen (imo) Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk

Couldnt agree more with the last 2 posts. I have never been as pissed off as I was after the 2011 final (not even after Albion Rovers!!!) And thats saying something. Even a bottle of excellent red wine had no affect. I thought if the players and management don't believe then whats the point....not this time though it all feels different Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
