  3. Great stuff Mr Larsson hope you manage to get over again and if you do let us all know here. I am sure you will be warmly welcomed and enjoy some true dosser hospitality Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  4. I am struggling to keep a lid on it as well, however for the first time ever as a Well fan watching us 2 goals up I was never nervous we were going to blow it. All the things we have had issues with over the years seem to have been sorted. Our game management in the second half was quite superb and not something we are used to seeing. 1. We are fit and athletic....no team will out fight us or physically intimidate us 2. We actually take throw ins quickly (and its Andy Rose who shows most and gives the thrower an option) 3. We are organised and have a plan. Free kicks and corners are dangerous as well 4. We also have a plan b when needed (and I have no doubt a plan c and d as well!) 5. We have a team playing for each other ( Moult applauding Bowman off the park, Bowman speaking to Fisher as he replaced him, celebrations on the subs bench at 3rd goal) 6. We have a growing connection between fans and team which will be vital when we inevitably have an off day 7. We have a board in sync with the manager and who do business the right way in the transfer market 8. We have talent in the u20s gaining game time on loan and seeing through Campbell and Cadden there is opportunity to progress 9. We have fierce competition for places (or even a place on the bench) 10. We have various options on the bench that can strengthen the team not weaken it. All of this makes us also an attractive proposition for the right type of player to join us and keep the momentum going which will be vital as inevitably I think we will lose the likes of Kipre, Moult, and Cadden at the end of the season For all of this a huge thanks to Robbo, Flow, Las, and everyone working behind the scenes. Last night was right up there, the old place was rocking in a way I haven't seen since the play off game, but the difference this time was it was not about survival but about success. My mojo had gone the last few seasons, but it's well and truly back now and even if there is a setback on Sunday nothing will change that. I'm away for a wee lie down now!!
  5. Neither..we concentrate on one game at a time Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  6. Good summary as ever. I know what you are saying re midfield but given its a squad game nowadays and we have options on a strong bench I wonder whether the game plan was to win the midfield 'battle' and then push on with more creative players ie Biggi, who I am not convinced is ready for an engine room scrap. Anyways great to be debating the hows of positive results!! Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  7. Another game leaving the ground enthused and smiling (as most were). First half poor Robinson was trying to get word to Dunne to play it shorter, Hammel on was a game changer ... shorter crisper passing. Campbell and Bowman outstanding as was Hartley, one of the best Well debuts I've seen. When you have the spine of the team strong you can get away with a lot. Subs spot on yet again. Biggi for Rose was right at that time and Hartley had signalled to the bench with tight hamstrings, good maturity last thing we all needed was him injured. McHugh did well going back but for all the comments about players going past him and being on the slow side we did lose a bit in midfield when he went back. So lots to be pleased about and there is obviously more to come. Spirit, fitness, organisation, options, yet still around me in the pod some moanin chunts. Wtf do you people want especially 'shakemaheidy' Looking forward to Adeen league cup tie.. could be a very special fir park night Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  8. Wouldnt disagree with that Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  9. Brother in law is a season ticket holder there, confirms he has indeed been doing well...pleased for the lad Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  10. He went close early in the game but did not score or assist in the goal Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  11. Wow. show me any goalkeeper who hasn't made a howler in his career so I ain't gonna pass judgement on this lad based soley on his howler for the second goal. I actually don't think he was to blame for 3rd goal. The acid test will be how he reacts now Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  12. Very very interesting, if not a bit disturbing but it shows you what clubs have to go through while we have at times sat waiting and sometimes criticising a perceived lack of progress.....thanks for posting Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  13. How do you know that is not what he has said to Campbell.... Don't get the 'respect' bit when you don't know what has been said.... great young talent but don't expect too much too soon....this board is good at turning on young players when they go through a lean spell ie Cads not so long ago Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  14. I had slightly different figures but in principle that was what I was thinking Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  15. Was Bowman but like your group we all breathed a sigh of relief general concensus was penalty Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  16. Sounds like that is the plan, just hope it works out....still its good we actually have a plan Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  17. I agree mate thought he improved after a sticky start, happy to see him back Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  18. Don't forget we can sign free agents after transfer window, which I accept is not as wide or desirable pool but will still contain some nuggets Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  19. Aye and he has every right to be aggrieved just as we were in the Rangers game for the push ON Bowman. I get that referees have a difficult job but both were pretty straightforward. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  20. A conspiracy theory too far? Who knows but whether in positive or negative mode Ya Bezzers posts are well constructed and not abusive or begging for attention, so I doubt they are one and the same. But who knows (or cares, I just want sensible debate from different viewpoints not silly games![emoji6] ) Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  21. I think Rose was in the team to provide exra defensive and offensive height against Hearts as well as doing a lot of grunt work. I rate Campbell highly but he is not exactly tall With the various permutations now available to us I expect to see a horses for courses approach depending on opposition and game circumstances (ie bringing Campbell on to help protect a lead) Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  22. Ouch!! christ we had a number of strikers at the time and were short in midfield, that was madness.....anyway great to see a more balanced approach to player recruitment nowadays Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  23. Watched the Burton v Birm game last week and Irvine was absolutely outstanding, shame we didn't land him...who was the flopped striker Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  24. Thought Dunne had a good game, seems like a decent player despite the earlier misgivings Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
  25. Just seen the highlights and noticed it was Rose who closed down and initially tackled the Hearts player allowing Tait to gain possession and feed Moult for that sublime finish. You can't say its an assist but its the type of thing that does show his value to the team. Sent from my GT-I9195 using Tapatalk
