  1. If we went back 4 I would like to see Dunne at centre back which is a position the player himself likes. A back 4 of Tait McHugh Dunne Livingstone would work. I remember getting pelters from some for suggesting prior to Killie away last season we go with Kipre and Dunne in centre of a back 4, which we actually did with Tait and Hammell as full backs. Defensively we were solid that day only losing 1 nil cos young Russell Griffiths flapped at a cross. You have options also with Maguire (who can also play defensive mid) and Mbulu. It has to change. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing every time and expecting a different result. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  2. Some chat on facebook that some were banned and rest walked but noticeable by their absence. Home crowd was 300 down on Livi game. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  3. I get what you are saying, but Sammon and Johnson got much needed game time and came off after an hour, the youngsters had a tough game on Saturday, and Scott and Agyman both got a run out, Sammon scores twice which will do him good, we score 5, Broque Watson was outstanding, Mbulu strolls it and scores again, Livingston scores a cracker, oh and by the way Turnbull and Maguire weren't there as they were training with the first team today, one would presume they will feature on Saturday. I would say thats all pretty positive wouldn't you? Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  4. He has proved himself to operate at the level we all thought. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  5. Was Livingstone made the tackle, I thought he was studs up as well but the ref gave us the foul, Sligo didn't complain and when Livingstone went over to the guy on the stretcher there seemed no ill feeling.. I thought Livingstone was superb today as was Hastie and Maguire. Mbulu took his goal well, dominated in the air and had a few terrific blocks, but got turned twice and was sloppy in possession a few times, but potential is there. No failures and as others have said a joy to watch. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  6. Agreed Busta Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  7. Can't disagree with a lot of that except perhaps Rodriguez Gorin who hasn't really had a chance due to Bigi's return to the fold. I do wish though folks on social media would not use disparaging comments re individuals. These are human beings trying to make a living, and just because they might not be to your taste or standard as footballers does not mean they are 'numpties'. Would you walk up to any of them face to face and call them a numpty? Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  8. Frankly the least of our worries after that sh#tfest today Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  9. I am an unashamed happy clapper, but that today was arguably the worst game of senior foootball I have seen. 1 piece of skill in the whole game. I have never been in the Robbo out camp, saving us from relegation and giving us some unforgettable memories last season in my view gave him a lot of credit in the bank, however today reset the balance at zero as far as I'm concerned. We defended reasonably well, but that was it. There was no plan, no shape, and aimless punts up the park to nobody as the forwards were back defending. I get that we needed extra height back at set pieces, but then surely someone pacey could be left up on halfway line, but then you think who? Individually there are some decent players there, but they looked shorn of confidence, and unsure of where and what they should be doing. Richard Tait is one of my fave players but constantly playing on the left seems to be wearing him down, Alan Campbell has regressed as has Cadds, forwards feeding off scraps, no pace or forward width, and a lot of narking going on between players, and between the bench and team. Body language looks poor. I actually think the crowd were reasonably patient today, but if we had gone behind that would not have been the case. Contradictory statements from Robbo, and actually telling the opposition in the media how we are going to play was bizarre. I hope this can be turned round, but if I am being honest I don't think it can, and it really pains me to say it. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  10. Just had a look at the statements from the candidates. Very impressive backgrounds indeed, augurs well for the future. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  11. Aye interesting also that a well fans facebook group had a poll on Robbo that last time I looked was 300/20 in favour, so whilst folks are not happy and a bad October would change the figures, the vast majority (silent majority?) do not want change now. As Busta said on the pod those calling loudly for his head now are the ones who were against him from the start. Really hope he can turn this round Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  12. Indeed he has been as big a miss as Kipre, although the other issue for me is lack of defensive midfield cover, especially in the absence of the much maligned Rose in the last 2 games. Perfect storm losing these 2 from a back 3 at same time. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  13. Watched him a couple of times, looks a player, fingers crossed he can step up Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  14. Good number, and if Yodo is amongst them looks like 1199 are hoping for a well victory Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  15. You sound as if you want us to get beat in the next few games?? You really are taking this to a whole new level. I have bad news for you, even if we lose the next few games no way will Robbo be sacked and neither should he be. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  16. Grizzly you really should stop taking tabloid headlines as gospel and read exactly what he said Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  17. Great piece Andy, well done. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  18. A bit harsh.... he has though owned Rodgers in the 4 times he has played Celtic......class act is Mr Clarke. I Saw that 8 of the Killie team who beat Celtic were in the team that got thumped 5 nil just before he took over. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  19. Rose and Grimshaw are on 1 year contracts, which buys us time to bring players like Maguire, Turnbull through without throwing them in every week. I can see them getting phased in as the season progresses Gorrin was brought in cos it looked like Biggi was away. I agree we are 'well' covered but have no doubt if they are deemed good enough we will see more of them, another season will see an evolvement in that regard (I hope) Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  20. Maguire has been playing defensive midfield (and doing it very well). I understand thats where Robbo sees him long term if he continues to develop. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  21. Some numpty with a dodgy haircut and straggly ginger beard a few rows from the front had spent most of the 2nd half bellowing sh### towards the dug out. Female steward got involved after Robbo's retort, all got calmed down. Don't blame Robbo, guy was a loud incessant clown. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  22. Sportscene pundits agreeing after seeing close up replays it WAS a foul on Carson, but as Robbo himself said, in real time it would have been difficult to see and there was no intent. We were still architects of our own downfall. Some you get, some you don't. Hope Trev OK Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  23. Usually agree with Dave's comments but actually thought our back 3 defensively did well and in no way were bullied, however in terms of moving the ball forward, all were pretty ineffective, perhaps the sheer physicality of the game left nothing in the tank for more offensive play. Carson's injury reduced sub options as I am sure Rose or Hartley who were running on empty near the end would have been replaced. Disappointing day, ironically McHugh our best performer despite his howler. Good mental strength after the double whammy outcome of his mistake. Plenty of effort but everyone just looked out of sorts, and against a team with better players thats a problem. That said we for the most part matched a very hard side to play against and they know they were in a game. Whilst I would love a non old firm team to win the league, I have mixed feelings when it comes to this mob. Better teams than us have been and will be beaten by them this season, disappointing as it was. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  24. Dunno Andy, I have a feeling there will be a decent turn out for this, think also opening the Hunter or Cooper might be a good option Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
  25. Great listen, football fans can be fickle, but those questioning Alan's appointment hopefully realise now what a smart move it was. Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
