Agreed. He'll be at Ipswich soon. Not the sort of player Cardiff should be letting go, has scored a lot of goals for them, they may have Bellend but he's there for a season. Once again, stupid Welsh bastards.
I'd hate to see him join Celtic.
You're probably right, it says in todays Scottish Herald: -
"it emerged that Peter Utaka, the Nigerian striker who was top scorer in the Danish Superliga last season will be suspended for the return leg of the tie."
I like the look of that team, I think we should try playing with 3 at the back cause Saunders is primarily a centre half and i think Hammell would be more than happy at left mid/wing.
Hope a few Cardiff fans are reading this thread. To be fair they were giving us pain on their equivalent which I dont understand as they dont really have any defence.
Didn't see the interview cause im in work the now but its nice to hear that Boyle is publicly expressing his anger at the way Cardiff have dealt with this matter.
175k is probably enough to pay his wages for 3 weeks. Really dont know how all this works but its a load of pish that we are probably never gonna see that cash.
Fair play, well said. We can build on the 1st half performance and do some defensive and fitness training for Thursday. Reynolds had a poor game but dont think it was bad enough to merit a thread of its own and the slaggins he's being given.
Bunch of sad, moany folk on here that I expect must be amazin at football to be able to dish out some of the comments they do! Stop greetin and support your team instead of slating every fault!
It's business, deals fall through all the time. I would give credit to Leeanne for coming out and giving us some info, if it wasnt for the amount of moaning folk were doing on here then I dont think she would have felt the need to come out and update us before the proposed deal was finalized. We have a sponsor now that I personally think looks quite good on the strips and £100k to invest in the squad so stop moaning and be thankful to Ms Dempster for actually managing to secure some precious advertising revenue when at one point it looked like we would be going through the season minus a shirt sponsor and the associated funds.
I thought we were great first half and should've went in at half time two or 3 up. I think second half we looked a bit tired and invited hibs to have a go at us which is dangerous with their attack. No doubt the ref done us no favours with some shocking decisions, he looked at the linesman for ages before he gave them their second goal. I think if we can build on our first half performance and get a bit fitter/sharper we could have a decent season. New guys looked like they will cause teams problems and Humphrey is improving all the time although he is not yet fully match fit and Randolph looks quality. Still would like to see a left winger as didn't feel there was much happening for us down that side. No need to panic yet, I thought loosing the game was harsh on us but a lot of positives to take away.
Had a wee look on the Hibs forum there and they seem worried that we have another tall striker as they feel they are still crap at defending set-pieces. Hopefully this has been noted by Brown and Sutton and Blackman can cause them some problems on Sunday.
Just to see who's rating who.
I'll go: -
Celtic
Rangers
Dundee Utd
Motherwell
Hearts
Hibs
-------------
Aberdeen
Hamilton
ICT
St Johnstone
Kilmarnock
St Mirren
Looking forward to see who Brown plays on Sunday. I think if Casagolda plays it will only be for the last 10 minutes or something as I don't think he's match fit. Its nice to have some options though. On recent form I think Humphrey will start.
I know, i just personally think he's better as an out and out striker, keep the pacy guys out on the wings. On paper that looks like a good team anyway, from what Brown's said looks like we are going to have a very fast attack.
See Brown's saying he's hoping to get somebody else in before the window closes, let's just hope its a left winger, although he says Blackman is fast with a good left peg so maybe thats what he has in mind for him. I'm thinkin: -
--------------Randolph--------------
Hateley--Craigan--Reynolds--Hammell
---------Jennings--Lasley-----------
Murphy------Casagolda------Blackman
--------------Sutton----------------
I'm heading to Willie Hills to put a fiver each way on both Jamie Murphy and Casagolda to be top scorers in the spl. Jamie Murphy is at 40-1 so fuck knows what odds they'll offer for Esteban!
