No way should the pot be dipped into to sign players, that was never the plan.

Would have been happier if the Wellevate scheme allowed U-16s free entry in the East as well as the Cooper, why the favouritism?
-
Hiding behind ludicrous rules & regulations, to simply quote rule numbers without explaining them is ignorant in the extreme and shows they are fearing a backlash I reckon. Probably hoping the less they say the quicker it will blow over.

Loved this thread, need more

Would love that, Bradford reproduced it a couple of years ago, very good job they did too.

Blue kit remains as far as I know

Ha ha, true, but Hell mend them, if they can wave ta ta to thousands of pounds they were otherwise guaranteed to receive they obviously dont need it, but folk do need to know about it to have any effect any future decisions.

Principle intit? Whole busload were refused entry last time due to a jobsworth taking issue with the drum, one of their directors has allegedly stated there would never be a drum allowed inside their stadium whilst he was there. What are they scared of? That our drum will drown out their fantastic vocal support? It is not their place to refuse fans the right to support their team whatever way they see fit, including using a drum so they should not be making an issue over this. Just being c***s basically.

Sauce for the goose and all that though, if they can offer to change 11-1 voting structure for their own ends they can offer it for the rest of the package, no-one see any merit in that suggestion? (I know we all can see it cos it's blatantly fucking obvious but why do these fuckers get such an easy ride whilst displaying such blatant hypocrisy)
-
See if we weren't allowed to cherry pick aspects of the deal we liked, how comes Celtic & the Sheep tried to do just that by offering to change the voting for a part they chose to try to push it through?

I don't think Mensing got much of a chance to prove himself really

I'd rather play them up there than face another soaking up pressure and hitting us on the break performance off Utd like the last couple at Fir Park.

Rather like our own club took plaudits last summer for listening to the fans when in reality they had little option you mean? Who cares what they claim, they did what the others should have done and vetoed this daft notion. Sevco's views are worthless in this, only their pals in the weejie meedja deem them to have any credence. SPL 1 & 2 is not credible either, 2 leagues of 10 is further away from what fans want but if all palms are creased it will probably happen, inviting Sevco in would be fatal error IMO though.

Personally I think it's past the point of no return, the game will slowly die away thanks to greedy fuckers sucking it dry. Fans told those who ran clubs years ago to cut back the live TV, address high admission costs, bring in wage caps, revert to bigger leagues etc etc. Clubs have now backed themselves into a corner where they can't do without TV money and fans will continue to walk away as every decision is driven by the need to secure revenue streams. Congratulations fuckwits, only a matter of time before the Old Firm bribe someone enough to admit them to their set-up but it will be too late to breathe new life into Scottish fitba'. I have no more suggestions, all have been done to death, this current clusterfuck is mental and when the crowds are non-existent TV will pull the plug and everyone wll be fucked. At least the fans would have stuck by you if you played the game with them.

Everyone else is voting seflfishly so they have every right to protect themselves too. A vote of this magnitude cannot be undertaken through selfish clubs but who will call the shots to force through change. Get the one body leadership first then have decisions like this taken centrally, then they will be accountable if it fails unlike now. Fans have spoken, the demand is for bigger leagues, no need for more debate to protect certain revenue streams, you either dismiss or heed the warnings
-
Yaay, one more and it's sealed, Celtic will propose a change to the crazy 11-1 voting procedure as it's unfair and next season we can try for a bigger league again, only I'd put the proviso in that no change to be made until The Rangers have won their way back to the SPL just to see if Chucky carries through his 'threat' not to take their place.
-
Knowing the SPL it will be Celtic away first game, just so's they can win the league against their closest rivals rendering the rest of their games meaningless so we will be the oly team to lose to Celtic in the last few games. Then our 2 closest rivals away to give them a chance to overtake us and we finish with home games to Utd who always win here and we have to beat St Johnstone on the last day to save our dream Euro slot. Did I just go all MJC there?

I hope to fuck you're talking about Southampton

Issue 97 is coming up soon, Saturday's game against St Mirren will be graced with our presence after what seems an eternity since the last one. Sellers will be on the streets after 2pm, or whenever the bottles of Becks are emptied. Some new names on the contributors list this time round, all welcome of course and with a point to prove. It's hard to be critical of the team just now, but obviously we try. Old Firm chat is always on the agenda cos its just so easy to pick fault there. Lazy I know but hey, you try pulling 40 pages together around your work. The debate surrounding the future of OSB has raged, well flickered on and off if truth be told, for a quite a while now and to be honest no definite decision has been reached. Some favour a switch to online publishing, others would like to soldier on but it's getting harder with every passing season. A price rise is to me not on, we would lose readers with an increase which would negate the advantages I reckon but others argue against this view. I know plenty readers disagree, the number of times I've been asked whilst selling why the price hasn't gone up. It washes its face just about, it's a labour of love and it's still going to be around in it's current format next season at least so for now there is no real debate to be had. Views are welcome as always between now and then but let's just enjoy this tremendous season we're having and hopefully have a laugh along with your victory on Saturday. Up the Well Mj

So the toty diddy teams have upset the wee diddy teams after they upset the big diddy teams by voting in hteir own interest? Shock Horror, gaun yirsels Keep the h**s down there as long as possible, spread the dosh around a bit more, happy with that personally, argued for years it should happen but this is the only way it would be done. I hope reconstruction is put on hold long enough to see if Chucky holds true to his promise to refuse membership of the SPL if they do actually win promotion back to the top.

And he refused to send a team for the Matt Busby thing a few years back did he?

Don't know what you're all so worked up about, if he goes we get a new guy in and carry on our merry way. It's what we do.
