We don't need to change against them two anyway, that was always a pointless exercise, we just changed for the sake of changing I felt. Give the away kit an extra airing kind of thing.

Ah know, just being faciti.... facetius......faitius, having a laugh ma man. Funny somebody said it's different yet quite a few clubs have gone down that route this year as you say.
  4. Nope, he buggered off to some imaginary job in Florida after he led us to the First Div title in 1982, in my opinion cos he wasn't confident enough in his ability to take us into the Premier League. We ended up with Jock Wallace who destroyed one of the most attack minded sides I've ever seen at The Ark. Of course there was no job and he returned home, finding himself in ra Shellic hotseat later. His fault we got Wallace, never forgive him

Nothing to moan about fella, but you'll know when it does, believe me I don't like a strip, big deal, I don't buy them anyway, I do love the home top, best in years IMO if that's okay
  7. He'd have been criticised because it was he who said we had to bring in players who were better than we already had. That wasn't the case at all, we needed a bigger squad to deal with a full season and he failed miserably by setting his targets too high. Gannon's policy lies squarely with the way our club needs to operate, McGhee's was pie in the sky. Bob Malcolm one of the highest earners, humpffff!!!!!

Why? It's not Pink, it's not Black and it's not Everton's. FWIW Disappointing, was hoping for a reverse of the home so that's a bit of a let down to be honest. Might grow on me once I see the team in it but first impressions are, naaaah!
  11. He wis a pretender, THE Brian McLaughlin was a terrific midfielder who we paid £100,000 around 1979 IIRC. Once again sad news if true.

  14. No we didn't, we knocked back a derisory offer from Hearts which involved a series of clauses including appearances, goals, international call ups and would have netted us in the region of £300K from a club who still hadn't paid Dundee their promised instalments from transfers prevouisly. Jim Jeffries meedja pals made up the figure to make him look good, Wigan's money was straight in our account and was double what Hearts offered on the never never.
  15. Time for those who dissed the Intertoto to take their slice of humble pie. I knew I was right (even though I only wanted a few days on the lash out of it)

  19. Don't think the visit he arranged for our directors last week was given enough exposure, his charity work probably goes unseen on purpose mind you but hats off to him on that score. He's gradually working himself back into favour at No.9

I have the planned home sample top* and it has Claret on collar and cuffs, last minute change to suit the modern trends wasted it I reckon. I expect the away top would have had the same contrast. Aye wisnae a hoop but fae the front it was boss. *Edit ; in fact it's on the extreme right of my avatar piccy.
