Not happy with the proposals but there's more to going to Motherwell games than the game. I've built up so many good friendships over the decades it's just not feasible to imagine not going. Away games are out the equation for me though, too expensive, can't be bothered, getting auld. I've hated the SPL and indeed the Premier League since it's inception so this is just the latest in a long line of shite management decisions which won't drive me away from doing what I do.

I also remember that year he tied with Andy Gray for the top scorer, he only played half the season whilst Gray played most of Utd's games. Could be clouded through time but that's my recollection, stattos might want to prove or disprove.

Simple answer is for us to keep on asking the questions. I saw this possibility as part of the Well Society bigger picutre, we can, indeed have to, keep asking the questions we wouldn't normally ge answers to, and if we draw a blank then we can use the Society to oust those who wish to keep us in the dark. USe the power the Society brings

It was, but he was still worse than useless, more a measure of just how bad a referee he is at our games. Honking but not as honking as previous is probably best I can say about the useless bastard.

Yes I remember the standing issue was going to cost us money as well, we chose to fight that battle as well because it was unnecessary to enforce that rule the way they the authorities were doing. Far as I can see that battle was won, and the club backed down/came to a sensible compormise whichever way you want to see it. As for this I'm no great lover of the marvellous spectacle that smoke bombs produce but what I am most in favour of is cutting the young lads a bit of slack and stop with the OTT condemnations, club included, realise the benefits these guys bring to the 'matchday experience' and work with them to keep going in the right direction. Condemning them outright without a thought to the circumstances doesn't help, these smoke bombs are harmless, they're not going to send the stands up in flames and do not warrant the reactions we've been getting. Let's face it they're only doing it for a bit of devilment cos they know it's not allowed, keep on saying 'You can't do that' and guaranteed it will keep on going.

Comes with the territory, the rest of their efforts go hand in hand with this part of it like it or not. I can put up with it, as can many, we don't get to pick and choose what parts of the Bois activities we like and want to keep and neither does the club. Personally I say let them get on with it, if that's the only thing clubs have to worry about these days then they should consider themselves fucking lucky. Harmless fun IMO.
