  1. Nail on head, we didn't get a choice when the standing areas were phased out, biggest injustice in this whole argument. That's all I would ask, give us a choice.
  2. They spent a good whack on installing USH but were quite happy to drill big fuck off holes in it
  3. Born in Motherwell, the Airbles Road hospital, into a Motherwell family, never any question. And my kids are the same although they had to be born in Bellshill. In the blood. C&A is a dominant gene so they know any future spouse has no chance of taking over the future of this family.

Bad kits = bad teams, Pubspotter says so

Their rugby jerseys are fuckin' horrendous but from what's on show in football they look okay apart from the obvious skin tight factor, designs are fairly straightforward, too much detail on Pompeys personally speaking but AZ looks more like a classic fitba' strip.

    Vs Kilmarnock

I think you're in the minority with your support for the split Tweed but I do admit it's worked in the sense it's given teams something to play for until the end. Trouble is, as stated, playing each other 4 times is monotonous and has led to crowds akin to meaningless games, there's no real visible benefits in terms of quality, it favours the Old Firm far more than anyone else and with it's unequal fixtures it's inherently unfair, which is and should be the main reason for getting rid and bringing in more teams. I and many like me would go watch Motherwell play friendlies every fortnight if it came to it, we haven't attracted any new fans through it so I would say it's not worked in any fashion bar the one you've quoted. Is that enough to keep it? I don't think so.

    Vs Kilmarnock

That's formed part of my opposition to the split since the start. It has been known for teams to go on a late run but that opportunity is denied those in the bottom 6. Hell Aberdeen almost managed it last season yet they only just made it in the top 6 by a ba' hair. Fine line between relative success and failure, too fine I'd say. Despite the fact most teams have an interest going into the final round of fixtures does it make the football any more attractive to watch, does it attract more punters in for the potential drama? Sadly naw so should be the first casualty of any rejigging. Sorry straying off topic there.

Punching above our weight in other words I take it in the spirit in which it's intended which is very much the same as you're saying. Can't see why anyone wants to turn it into an issue, we are very much a small club in the bigger scheme of things and revel in performing outwith expectations. Whether those expectations are ours or from outside the club we are doing it and long may it continue.

That's a whole new young 'uns/auld yins argument. Ah remember Georgie Best's white boots being copied in the 70s. Wrong then as it is now IMO

We've worn C&A since 1913, the Hoop has adorned the jersey in the majority of those years so yes, tradition. In modern times there has been a shift so time to get back to the proper hoop before more disrespectful young pups take your attitude

Point proven once again, cheers lads. Get that Hoop back now before we lose it forever due to ignorance and apathy

Exactly the kind of attitudes created by numerous arseing about by kit manufacturers. When you've got a tradition you should stick with it otherwise, as shown, you lose that identity which was previously considered exclusive. Amber shirt, claret hoop, there's your template.
