  1. I was most upset at J O'B accepting a draw and wasting time after Boruc sliced a clearance. He could have taken a quick throw and maybe won all 3 points as Boruc was trying to get back to his box. Yes it's good to come back as we did but it would have been better to totally stuff them like that.
  2. Would take far longer so I'm told, a close season jobbie for sure.
  3. But those who stay away won't return until the Cooper is given back to home fans only. Not exactly Catch 22 as it is easily remedied but you get my drift?
  4. She's defending the rights of legal immigrants not to have that song aimed at them when they come to Fir Park.
  5. Jus to confirm, you are still talking about downloading the highlights yes? Just so's I know if I need to ban my daughter from viewing this thread
  6. Watch out Pauline's on the warpath about this on FPC, she'll be here in a minute then youse huv had it
  7. We have already paid through normal channels for a pitch to be relaid but Boyle decided that money could be used elsewhere, fucked if am paying for it again. It was meant to be done last year, therefore should already have been budgeted for, additional fundraising shouldn't be necessary, just do what was promised and stop fuckin us about with lies and half-truths.

    Ian Brines

Folk around me were shouting for a pass back as well but I didn't see who played it to him. I forgot the kick from Naka to add to the list. Given that list it's clear to see Brines is shocking as that was one of his better games at Fir Park. True to form Setanta highlights showed none of the above.
  9. I heard them booing at the On Loan song early on, obviously got cloth ears and just asumed it was THAT version. Wouldnae surprise me if sections of the meedja had cotton wool in their ears also and try to land an accusation on us. But not once did we sing the Famine Song so they can fuck themsels

    Ian Brines

That was Brines best game at Fir Park, he was mere shite as opposed to his usual dreadful. J O'B's perfectly won tackle in front of us in the East Stand was just a made up foul in Brines' head, Clarky's push at the back post when Samaras was down injured was just invented so he could stop play and do away with the possibility of a dodgy drop ball, Artur Boruc proved Brines cannae count by keeping the ball for 10 minutes as opposed to the allowed 6 seconds, Klimpl's booking wasn't worth a yellow but the Shellic official who pushed Maros away deserved sent to the stand. McDonald continually cheating and being awarded fouls shows Brines doesn't study the game much, Brown blocking players from getting to the ball deserved pulling up but he was allowed to continue with it. So many things wrong with his performance so I really can't see how anyone thinks he did okay. Not match changing granted but overall he's still fuckin' murder.

    Celtic

He deserves minus points for they shocking green boots, did you see him at half-time? Surely someone could have taken him aside and explained the simple fact that green just doesn't go well with yellow unless yer Brazilian
  12. Use your influence if you have any to have them banned from that area in future if they can't behave. I know a good few Motherwell fans who would jump at the chance of those seats
  13. It can't be boring when it's our own fans being shafted. They didn't take over the ground in the late 80s/early 90s when we had all of the covered terrace and round behind the goals. It might be boring to some but it fuckin matters to most. Cakes I doff my hat to you splendid post sir.
  14. Thing is Admiral put their first kit out for sale, both home and away, tracksuit an a' (cos I got them all upstairs ) but that two stripe effort was one of those 'silk factory' jobbies methinks. (Sure it was called silk factory, place off Bellshill Road which made copies of replica strips. Worst part is I'm sure they supplied Motherwell's club shop with Wullie P diagonal kit and got the 'Sash' going the wrong way )
  15. I'm pretty sure that Admiral strip wasn't on sale for fans to buy so they couldn't launch an appeal like Xara did with the Untouchables top a few years back if supplies were running low.
  16. Probably more to do with Ally MacLeod enforcing his own mark, we saw Dick a L'Orange at Ibrox bringing in white socks for instance just cos he liked them better, of course could also be down to Admiral having problems with supplying the club, the real reason may never be known cos no-one really felt it important to broadcast it. I like bammy facts like that though so it would be interesting if anyone could clear it up for definite.
  17. We did indeed change to the kit in your first pic after it was chosen from designs submitted by fans but it was a horror and when Hynd was sacked Ally MacLeod came in and promptly changed it back. Bad kits = bad teams as my ole Doncaster Pubspotter buddy maintains and that one certainly proved itself as we were almost relegated before Super Ally took over. Your research shoul also show a return of the hoop in 1973(?) under Ian St John which only lasted a short while as we changed to the now famous 'Wullie P' diagonal band. NOt sure how long it took but I have a fancy that was changed partway through a season as well.
  18. Would a Champ Manager go with it though, that's where a lot of our fans seem to think the real world exists anyway
  19. For this auld bugger at least astro grass means sitting out games later on due to damage to the knees. It's well known the hard surfaces cause long term damage so why anyone would subject pros to it regularly is beyond me.
  20. So Wellfan fella that's two auld c***s at a loss to what you meant. Explain yirsel chappie. edit - Fuck ye cannae even use the word c**t in jocular sense, what is this world coming to
  21. But someone somewhere has to stand up and do something about it rather than meekly abide by the daft rules. Do we have to introduce dafter rules like having to sign a disclaimer absolving the club from blame if bouncing results in an injury? Yes even amateurs are being hit by nonsense, difficult to see how we get round that but if we don't try we never will. Meekly accepting it is not an issue if we want to protect (or even get back) the atmospheric part of our game. Managers want fans behind their team, officaldom prevents that from happening. There has to be a compromise somewhere and as an example bouncing is no more dangerous than jumping up to celebrate a goal. It's something fans do yet we're told not to, but we don't have to accept it. Someone in authority can listen to the opinions of those being inconvenienced by it and say enough is enough. H&S guidelines are just that, not rules or laws, guidelines. Interpretation is the key, that's where the decision makers can choose how exactly they implement them and we are being let down continually by people with no understanding of how a football crowd operates.
  22. Fuxake apparently 'bouncing' is dangerous noo. Let fans act like fans and just watch over them in case anyone gets out of line. How fuckin' difficult is that?
  23. That's a definite whoosh moment for me that is
