Bear in mind this is only the latter part of the collection, completing seasons back to my birth year was my ultimate goal so as well as 27 season I want rid of, there's another 21 folders, albeit the progs were smaller then. Spent the last week sorting them out, taking out ones that mean something as it seems no-one's going to plump for the bulk lot so dealer it is. Feel free to drop me a wants list before I contact him though, he isn't interested in complete seasons unless there's some rarities included which he thinks he can not mention and get it cheap along with the rest so rather Well fans got the rare ones first.

You've said it at the end there. To me so many players in the box looking to score shows a commitment to attack that is both welcome and refreshing, happy with that approach and long may it contiue.

Not if there's no up and coming Motherwell collectors to buy them no Not quite thousands for the period mentioned. Older ones are more valuable obviously. Would probably sell for a couple of hundred if I have to go to a dealer, but conservative guesstimate would be more than double that.No real rarities involved, complete seasons are more for the collectors own personal satisfaction rather than monetary gain but combination of lack of space and circumstances means a clear out is essential and got to start somewhere.

Or are we a dying breed among Well fans? I'm offloading all my league programmes from 1985 til the end of last season, just about complete. A few missing and other matches like Friendlies, Cup ties etc. are separate, looking to move on them in one go but appreciate that's unlikely in current climate but would split them season by season, no individual splitting though. In effect this is our 27 year Premier League unbroken history in one place, dealers won't offer anywhere near the going rate so I'll come and go with any Well fan loking to start off or do a bulk deal. Natural career path

Interesting maybe but totally coincidental, OSB's future will not be determined by the launch of SIWY. I wish the lads every success with it, have backed them to the hilt from day 1 in their efforts to improve the atmosphere 'up by'. This being their next stage I hope they can grow it as their group grows in strength and numbers. Also that other fans back them and avoid a them and us scenario, their efforts benefit everyone in the ground on matchdays, I certainly was at a point where I was asking myself why the fuck I put myself through it when the stadium was like a morgue. Wasn't that long ago and these guys have had to put up with some amount of shite from our own fans, stewards and club but they've battled away, shown some resolve and worked their way into favour. It's good to see them taking up the mantle, Id like to think in some way they took some inspiration from OSB and our contribution to terrace culture. And he did it well

Nope I well remember walking out of a good few games that season thinking I got my money's worth cos the team gave their all. We don't need to win for me to enjoy what's happening in front of me, good honest commmitment goes a long way, if we're not good enough then so fuck, we tried our best and need to try and improve. I can honestly say I enjoyed that season more than many better seasons cos we had a cause to fight for and it felt like we were all in it together, contrast to now where we're having a decent season thus far yet many are thoroughly pissed off at losing certain matches, or the manner we lost to be more accurate. Thinking back to auld Granpa Broons time in charge, turgid fitba' yet we won fairly regularly, walked out after victories going "That wis fuckin' murder", I'd say that was more soul destroying.

This. So I think everyone who can should get involved rather than waiting to see what's going to happen. We have to make it happen cos there is no plan B.

Is Fizzy still with them?

I would hope the Society would pass on the obvious feelings of the membership before the club decides on a stance, but I would also expect that someone is called to account if they don't act according to the majority wishes on such important matters. For me that's the only real benefit of the Society at the moment, early days I know but we get to call out someone if we don't like what's happening therefore I would hope we are consulted on such issues if only to protect positions.
