  1. Can I just say I thought the ref was fucking shocking again, best criticise after a win so can't be accused of sour grapes
  2. Just saying that's why they're delayed, have noticed more live games from them though, maybe stepping up after dipping their toe in with the delayed broadcast. Natural progression perhaps?
  3. Al glady accept that, there's a knack to being in the right place at the right time.
  4. Cheers Kenny, I did like them tap-ins mind you, scored hunners of them
  5. Big thank you to everyone who supported OSB on Saturday, almost sold out and most were understanding of the price hike. Last few copies are available on a Big Cartel page created last week, one example of the Bois advice helping out us auld yins. Buy here http://dosserdom.bigcartel.com/product/one-step-beyond-98 #99 is planned for March/April time and will be the last topical issue, if you can call covering the previous 5 months topical The last issue #100 is planned for your memories to be at the forefront. Rather than commenting on the season or team I'd like it to be a celebration of 20 years of terrace culture. I've kind of touched on it with the very brief summary of each and every issue spread over the last 3 zines but the invitation is extended to all to send in your particular memories of OSB to make it a special commemorative edition. Contributions are being taken as of now, mark it clearly for issue 100 though. You can contact me through PM, on Twitter @mj_editor, at www.dosserdom.com or editor@dosserdom.com
  6. Delayed games are usually played at 3pm on a Saturday, can't show them at that time.
  7. Hmmm let me see, someone who cannae spell Subbuteo? Nope you got me
  8. You're just giving me ideas you Cheers
  9. There's a good wee shop u the road to get your milk n stuff
  10. Same old, same old, I know Whittakers down South now but Old Firm (connected) right backs playing left back putting the best left back in Scotland out the team is nothing new with Scotland. Picking lower league players is a new approach to an age old problem. Thnakfully injury prevents us from seeing how the lack of intensity has affected Wallace this time, but sure there will be other opportunities.
  11. You haven't learned yet? Look around you, not many still go there with any belief, hope is last to go but many have even lost that. Seems the write off attitude towards these games still has to filter through some. Young lads have an excuse though, you should know better, man of your experience
  12. Ifs, buts and maybes, end of the day we don't ever go to Glasgow looking for a win except probably Thistle this season. IMO we could maybe get a win if we tried for it, playing for a draw invites them onto us and they invariably score when invited to do so. So plan A has been proven not to work over and over, a wee change of outlook might reap rewards who knows? Certainly make it feel better if we lost trying to win it than meekly lose out the way we always seem to do. Celtic are a better team on paper than everyone in the league, but do we really need to be so obviously scared of them? We're not too shabby ourselves you know.
  13. Next issue is due on Sat 19th Oct v Hearts, deadline for any contributions is Wednesday, feel free to vent your spleen, contact me here or PM or any of the other various mediums
  14. If The Rangers don't sign him first
  15. I went to get my lad a top over the weekend there at the Roma shop. 75 euros Can ram that, even last years top was 45 euros. Don't know if that's a Macron thing or if Italian clubs are all expensive but Becks was only 2 euros so I chose to drink more
  16. That means the first report is bang on the money then
  17. Love that, especially the use of white in the hoop, and the black socks just that bit different. Class You know, now that I think about it, I actually designed one like that only using the Sash kit as my template for the competition in 1978-79 when I was at school. Never submitted it IIRC although I may have done. Would have been better than the vertical striped one we ended up with IMO
  18. No problem with either of those, although I must confess I do like the idea of a big white square like rugby teams used to have
  19. IT's a bag of shite and could easily be worked round in my opinion. Sampdoria have always managed to work round it, rugby style squares round the number for example, or stopping the hoop in the middle of the back just enough to leave a gap for the number, or even just stick the number over the top of it like Parma and Derby have done this season. Shouldn't be an issuebut for the purpose of the poll my post in the kits thread says it all for me. Just follow Stuttgart and change it to C&A, they've had some belters recently, nice and simple, with a hoop or band, really don't need much else.
  20. 5 each then, Faddy assisting Sutty, Anier, Vigurs, Angol then scoring the mad equaliser in the 95th min with a Panenka 'nalty.
  21. Michael McMahon was on Twitter asking folk to send him details at the weekend. I was cynical like you but he was on the ball with it to be fair.
  22. It'll move on from the smokes to something else if the Bois manage to forego them. Police Scotland and the SNP need to see this football bill producing results i.e. arrest figures or banning orders, to do that they need to engineer situations to show their presence is still required. With little or no hooliganism at games now it stands to reason the slightest misdemeanour will suffice for them to flex their muscles and show the Government their budget should be secured in future. It's all a game, Bois need to box clever here cos they're an obvious target but the good news is the opposition urnae really that clever so a bit of creative thinking should win the day lads. Mon the Bois
