LIke I said before I'd like to see the club taking a harder stance, along with the other 'diddy' teams and taking the lead against Celtics domination of the financial side now that Rangers are out of the way. We need to be break their strangehold while we have the chance cos if we play nice just now they will not return the favour when Rangers get back in the top league. Grasp the opportunity to fairer TV distribution, prize money, gate receipts, in fact every form of income they had a monopoly over. Take them to the cleaners cos believe you me, they would shaft us without a backward glance, and will do so when they next get the chance themselves along with their blue bum chums. I favour an aggressive approach but I know that won't work at that level, I don't care. The job needs doing and it needs doing right. After that all Diddy teams should apply to the SFL with a view to disbanding the SPL, it hs never worked, an abject failure along with it's elitist principles. Get us back being the peoples game with the strength being the league as a whole, not just the biggest and richest clubs being greedy.

Every financial decision made over decades has affected the smaller clubs financially and they have never used it wisely so take it off ra Shellic and share Rangers portion out among us. The fans have showed balls to vote NO, now it's time fo the clubs to show theirs and take what is rightfully ours rather than piss about with car boots and jumble sales to make up what we will allegedly lose. COme out fighting rather than fearing Rangers demise, this cold be the best thing to happen to the game since Motherwell FC were created in 1886

I think you're bang on with that statement, the rise of social media means the outright lies printed by the gutter press are quickly answered publicly. Best thing about it is fans have used the power they've always had at their disposal in a far better way than ever before. Let's hope it keeps going and even the power of the press begins to wane.

I have always held the belief that switching to keeping home gate receipts was a bad move and one which hindered the diddy clubs. I will always back a move back but perhaps a share of the profits would be a fairer move rather than a straight 50-50 split. The Scottish Cup is a prime example, split receipts still operate for these games, it takes two teams to play a game and both should be rewarded for participation.

To be honest it disnae matter a fuck which one it is, as you say whiever way it's put they shouldn't be running the game. One body with football people in charge, not always guaranteed to work obviously but the fuds in power just now are so out of touch they have to be replaced.

This Co-ordinated campaign required, this was too rushed, best waiting until we have a clearer idea of what's happening. If the SFL chairmen say NO there is little point anyway is there but a co-ordinated response at the first games of the season to show displeasure aat the handling of the whole affair would still be appropriate.

Absolutely bang on the money, pardon the pun, that Clyde statement. If we as a game rely that heavily on the Old Firm financially then the game is already a bogey and we should rip it up and start again. Argued that point for years but no-one wanted to listen. Even in the last couple of days I've argued that point with fellow Well fans who ask me if I'm prepared to see my club in trouble by refusing Rangers a get-out clause. Simple answer is yes I am, but I would hope enough of our so-called fans, i.e. those who don't attend at the moment but profess a love for the club, would solve that problem by backing the club for their bravery in saying No. And don't start with the 'but I work every Saturday' or 'I can't afford it' or other such like. If you do then I'm obviously not getting at you but there are folk who are just sometimes too lazy or blase and take the club for granted, to those people that comment is aimed. Prove you love the club by getting off your arse and giving them some actual support. We can't survive on our current gates so we need more to come and attend, no more excuses, it's time for action as Secret Affair used to say. Of course that all hinges on our club being braver still and telling Doncaster and Regan they are miles out with their blackmailing tactics, this pair of pricks need booted out as all they can see is pound signs and profit margins, not the type of people to be running our game. The SFL might not be much better but these two need to be gone, someone with a little understanding of the way the game is meant to work would be helpful.

Not a new suggestion but a very accurate one, this is the only way to protect our game the way things are going so I reckon we all should get writing to our clubs asking them to back this proposal

We've been making inroads into the Bigot support already, time to mount a campaign I'd say.
