Steelboy has no intention of voting yes, he's just being an erse
-
By the time you finished it was afternoon
-
It took you 20 minutes to write that? Seriously?
-
We can achieve all of this by ourselves once we get rid of the corrupt voting cartel that's been holding us back for years.
-
About what?
-
No attempt to predict the ramifications of a NO vote in a positive sense going forward? We can all wring our hands and worry but I prefer to view this as an opportunity to sort our game out that's been denied us all these years.
-
Course we will, it's up to us but I'd rather have it that way than hang on the coat tails of the Old Firm. Use this as a positive and hope to Hell the rumours of a carve up are not true cos if they are then I tend to reckon I'll be doing the walking away that I vowed I would never do. Pretty sure if we're creative we can cut costs and bring more punters in using the old integrity card. Any restructuring can be done after Rangers are refused entry even to the 3rd Div, let them start in the Juniors and we'll vote in a pyramid structure to give them a clear pathway. We do not need to include them otherwise this whole affair will have been pointless.

Am gonnae vote NO and send it back, then I might read through it.
-
Cannae be arsed reading all that but can imagine it's the same old tosh we've been reading for weeks. Stagecoach West of Scotland League for youse ya c***s.

They're the first newco to try and sneak back in you mean, they aren't members of the SPL anymore cos the club is dead. There shouldn't even be a vote on this, we should be concerning ourselves with who will replace the now defunct club that used to go by the name of Rangers. It just illustrates how much money talks and that is wrong so to me I don't even want to know the finanical implications for our club, I prefr to focus on how we're going to counteract the implications and make sure we continue in the healthiest fashion possible. If there is literature to read I would hope it also provides the projected implications of a NO in the positive sense rather than focus on the negative. Thin I know the answer there already though. I can accept we will take a hit but I want to know what we're going to do about cos to me it is inevitable and all this palaver is merely wasting time to get things in place.

Hopefully the SFL will vote them out as well, 3 years accounts required mind, rules are rules after all chaps. Mon the Spartans!!!

Straight Question To The Board Of Mfc Re. Rangers Newco
fatcalf replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
Oh there's a chance, always a chance. Whether the diddy clubs take it or not is the issue. Me I'd be all over it soon as the NO vote is confirmed, but I'm no diplomat and diplomacy has got us where we are today, scared to speak up cos of the power of the Bigot Bros. Well that's coming to an end and we should all be looking to capitalise, and make things watertight so that if a New club hooks up with Celtic they would still lack the necessary power to change against the wishes of the majority. -

Was it not half the profits? Can't have the away team going away with more than the home team cos they'll have the costs to stage the game. -
But if it's empty me and you will definitely get a seat

Straight Question To The Board Of Mfc Re. Rangers Newco

I just wish folk would read things properly and make up their minds on the content instead of having pre-conceived notions about the content which then clouds their understanding. At no time did I read in that statement that we were going to vote Yes, it's just not there but some would have it as fact. I did see a Shellic blog claiming it in bold tabloid style headlines but they probably only went on what some Well fans were saying about it to give it credence. Whatever the intention of releasing the statement the backlash shows the strength of feeling at least but aside from that I really do believe a Yes vote would be more detrimental to Motherwell long term, it's not about punishing a corpse for me, they're not worthy of my concern. But voting Yes will cost us severely, probably the Well Society first and if that dies we are in the shit. Some clever minds on our board, need to start being extremely clever in the next few weeks. -
I don't buy papers as a rule but picked up the Express by chance yesterday whilst waiting on my lunch being made up and read the most curious thing. Apparently Mark Walters was racially abused by Motherwell fans at Fir Park, so says Partick Thistle fans trying to deflect the accusation away from their club, saying the accuser, yon Aamer Anwaar c**t, got Firhill mixed up with Fir Park. I don't remember Walters having bananas thrown at him here, anyone else? He got abuse same as any h*n c**t would get but I reckon we're just being tarred with the same brush due to past allegations, easy target, no-one bats an eyelid cos it's happened before and all that.

We all have to make sacrifices, no-one wil notice anyway

Straight Question To The Board Of Mfc Re. Rangers Newco
fatcalf replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
Therer is no definite indicator yet how the club will vote, only folk reading things into the clubs statement which aren't exactly there. But we need to get across to them how we see the figures stacking up after a No vote and the positives that scenario could bring rather than them only seeing the negatives of Rangers money being lost. We can change the future of Scottish fitba' here if we are brave enough to strike out, we can make up the lost revenue if we approach it in a positive way instead of being scared of going it alone (well with only one Bigot Brother instead of 2). The biggest positive we can take is the opportunity to strip Celtic of their veto and take a fair share of the money that's still coming into the game. There will still be TV deal, we need to get a fairer distribution of that cash as well the league placing share-out. Surely that will go some way to replacing any drop in gate money from the demise of the Infirm. We will lose money from stay away fans without a doubt if we vote yes, so sums need to be done but I really cannot see the impact necessarily being so great if we approach this in the right way. Leave the doom and gloom to the Weejie meedja who fear for their junkets and freebies from the Brox. -

FWIW I think a protest is a dangerous game to play, if it turns out fewer than expected the heirarchy might give it the spiel that opposition isn't as high as initially feared. We're a small club and the militant wing is smaller again, that won't stop the meedja comparing any turnout at Fir Park against that of the Sevco consortium a few weeks back. A few hundred here would be a good turnout but the meedja spin would suggest otherwise. -

This is a great opportunity for the diddy clubs and we cannot allow financial concerns to scupper it, use it as a bargaining tool and be positive. Everyone has to back the club and buy into the Well Society, get season tickets if possible, encourage more to come along. Use this opportunity as a springboard to relaunching the Community Club ideal. Financially I reckon we're fucked either way, but vote yes and the hit will come from our own fans mainly and there will little chance of ever coming back from it, vote no and we can recover with our fans support, thankful that finally our club has shown the balls to stand up for itself against the Darkside. -

Only thing is Club 12 do not exist at this moment in time so there's no club to relegate. I said to Big Pie yesterday the SFA might use this as cover for allowing minimal sanctions to hinder the new club, then again they might finally be taking control of a situation that has been allowed to descend into farce by inaction from proper authorities. The rules say 3 years accounts is required to enter the pro leagues, stickto the rules and allow Spartans their chance, they've been inversting heavily to come up to standard required. Rangers are dead, and should remain so if we play by the rules.
