  6. Last game v St Johnstone we had around 4,200 home fans at the game, Nuff said. A team like this deserves a lot more coming through the gate, sadly that's not happening and I'd say that's worrying for the future.

    Pitch Invasion

Och gies peace man, it's another time honoured tradition that has sadly gone the way of many due to a few handwringers. I'm sure the players were petrified at the thought of a few happy fans trying to give them a pat on the back for their efforts all season. Am gonnae stay in forever in case ah get hit wi' a bus noo Here's what will happen now, to save us going round and round in circles again. I'm going to wallow in the nostalgia of a time when the enjoyment of many came before the actions of a very few, you stick to the negatives of another victory for the heavy handed PC Brigade , I'll happily concede it's not about to happen again but I'm glad we used to have a few wee rebels who wouldn't just conform when the authorities snapped their fingers. Some of the seasons we used to have to endure, the fans deserved the opportunity to jump about like eejits on the pitch for putting up with the eejits who jumped about on it every week. Sheesh, it's getting harder all the time to stick up for the rights of fans to act like fans when it's fans themselves that are putting fan culture down.
  8. I got one of those the other year without the badge, love it. Only thing is they charge a fiver extra for leaving the badge off cos they class it as a special order How can you actually have to pay more for someone not doing something to a jersey?
  9. Just call it blue so's it upsets the handwringers, anyways we canny huv Black cos ra Shellic have cornered that market. All Claret is a cracking look though with an Amber hoop

    Pitch Invasion

I don't run on the park, and haven't done so for many a year, but I do remember it as a kid and it was exciting to set foot on the hallowed turf and maybe even get to shake one of the players hands as he went off the pitch. Said earlier I used to use it as a shortcut to the pub but later I just stood up at my seat laughing at the weans getting a buzz from just being on that turf. My argument is solely about the overzealous approach to enforcing a ban on what was nothing more than a celebration, very few occasions was there a sinister element to it and that was generally when a big away support had just seen their team cuffed. No-one has ever given the reasons for a change of approach, Health n Safety is not a reason and the pishy arguments aboot yon poor wee lamb wot played for ra Shellic have never been proven. Excuses excuses as always

Nae wonder he didn't make it at Celtic then if he couldn't out run a pissed up ned on for a wee pitch invasion. It's a major over-reaction to a minor alleged incident but then par for the course where fitba' is concerned

    Pitch Invasion

It's a' shite, Wallace wasn't injured at all, someone accidentally clipped him on the way past at worst, I don't believe for a minute that he was deliberately kicked and I don't believe it was serious. That is about a specific circumstance that could very likely cause a riot i.e. ra Shellic winning the league at our ground, obviously that's not a good environment for a 'friendly' pitch invasion but it is entirely different to the discussion we are having about a good natured invasion to celebrate the end of the season. Stands to reason it wouldn't be possible against the Smellies but it is perfectly viable for run of the mill matches where there is very little bitterness towards opposing fans.
  13. To be honest it hasn't really changed since we all knew about it and we all knew the bosses were complicit. Maybe not in such an obvious context as this debacle but come on, we all knew years ago Scottish fitba' wis corrupt as fuck in favour of the big 2 jobies. If you don't you should have bought One Step Beyond and I'd have put you in the picture. All this furore merely confirms what we've been saying all along, albeit in a very public manner as compared to just a few hundred fanzines of a wee diddy club that no-one takes much notice of.

Won't allow it, Health & Safety, believe me we've tried

I'd rather ask the question why it is deemed unacceptable when all it ever was was a bit of fun

    Pitch Invasion

Why do they frown on it though? We know why, not allowed to enjoy yourself but I thought we'd got over that of late. It's like when you question a steward telling ye to sit down. 'Why?' 'Health & Safety' That's not a reason, neither is 'Cos I said so' Anyway about this Rangers Newco thing..................
  17. Briliant, pity it wouldn't arrive in time. What about photocopying the Motherwell Passport that was in The Sun the other day, everyone take one of them?

Disnae really answer the question though, why is it deemed so wrong? The Celtic incident was never proven, was that wee arse that's down at Burnely or Preston, Ross Wallace, greeting that somebody kicked him on the way off. I disbelieve that completely cos during the game if anyone went near him he would do a swallow dive wi' a half pike and scream for a penalty. Anyroads a good natured pitch invasion is not dangerous but the PC brigade deem it to be a risk. Been involved in plenty of them as a youngster, and some later years as well but hardly ever does it turn ugly. The fans are going on to celebrate in time honoured fashion, fuck all wrong with that. Said before though, best thing was I used it as a short cut to the Cooper Stand after the game meant I got to the pub quicker.
  20. Not really sure which I like best there, the ones praising the Bois or the bitter ones refusing to praise them.
  21. SPL has been a pile of shite ever since it was introduced, elitist garbage and we were all sold down the river a long time ago to feed the greed of the big two jobies. I fully expect everyone to bend over and take on to allow Rangers newco in if it should happen, I just don't see it as being different from the shafting we've already taken, we all know the league is corrupt but it has been from day one.I do think we should make our feelings known should the time come and the Well Society is the perfect way to do so. You put Motherwell fans interests before anyone or you pay the price but just can't see me not going to watch the Mighty Dossers. For me it's that simple, I go to watch them whatever competition, I don't agree with the Champions League format, in fact I vehemently oppose it as a money grabbing exercise for the big clubs, but I'm sure as hell intending to go those games when we feature in it.
  22. And sell my used match ticket face value £25 for £50 on ebay on Sunday cos it was the last ever Glasgow Rangers FC game at Ibrox. How much might a programme fetch?
