Late as that, fine result nonetheless

They'll be after revenge for that 4-2 tanking we gave them in 1973 (I think it was)
-
And a heluva lot more previous against us for by that, never mind any other games he's handled. Utter cock.
-
Fyvie deliberately kicked the ball away when he saw Lasley coming in to take the foul, cheating c**t
-
-
Not in dispuite, but that's not what the point was.

Not that good for a 'massive' club like they are, they used to bring those numbers for midweek games when they were fighting relegation. Now our support a few years back at Killie, Stranraer, Clyde and more was something to talk about as it approached our level of home support at the time. Praise where it's due and all that and in the current climate maybe they deserve a bit but it is the Scottish Cup, not entirely unexpected nor out of the ordinary

It was clearly a shocking decision, I watched the game and in real time it looked like he fell over his own feet so sorry but Thomson is clearly a jerk and an amateur as the Schalke coach called him. Didnae take him long to suss him out, nor us, so why the SFA can't see it is beyond me, unless they're complicit.

A corner that wasn't a corner, end of the day if it was given as a goal kick we wouldn't be having this discussion so refs to blame 100%
-
Revert to the tried and tested 2-3-5 method of my youth, everyone used to play it.
-
Rewarding him with anotyher high profile game just says it's ok son, be shite all you want
-
I'd be happy with that as well but probably pushing it just a tad.
-
He was trying to make up his mind if he'd get away with not giving it until he realised SKy were there and he'd probably get found out. Fuckin' amateur jerk.
-
When you say same as any other draw, do you not mean heavily weighted in favour of the teams most likely to draw in most money/sponsorship/crowds?
-
Mistimed, nothing more. Ian Black conned the ref the other week, Thomson is the kind of shite ref who believes reputations count and allows it to influence his thinking. Not much of a decision to make really although there are many players who would have gotten away with yellow for that. He got his ankle so not sure where the over the ball comment comes from. A combination of Keef's recent past and 'amateur jerk' Thomson meant there was only one outcome but he doesn't really have a complaint.

First of all we need to play our game, pumping high balls up to Higdon is not going to beat Aberdeen, Broon has filled his team with big heffers so the way to beat them is to run rings round them, like we usually do. Up against it from the word go on Sunday cos of the officials howler, that early in the game completely changes the outlook. We need the first goal this week.

When Neil Doncaster says the game would lose 20M quid what he really means is the OLd Firm would be fucked and we can't let that happen. We could cut our cloth to suit, Old Firm couldn't cos they would stand to lose the majority of the 20M between them. I'd quite happily take a 16 team league (prefer 18 though) with a reduction in quality and more home grown talent getting an airing, that is what our game should be about given the size of the country. We're never going to dine at the top table so we should concentrate on making the best of what we have. I can't say I'd turn my back on Motherwell if the newco thing happened, but then I've given up on the SPL as an entity long ago, I hate elitism and the fact that we might think we're doing well at someone else's expense whilst someone else is doing well at our expense. The carve-up of gate money, TV income and prize money all benefitting the Old Firm more than anyone has to be stopped and this is the opportunity to do just that. Back to split gates, don't give a fuck about live telly, even spread of prize money and a bigger league will all help towards a bright future for the game. Moaning about loss of TV revenue is an extremely short sighted outlook and will kill the game eventually, so whatever way Doncaster wants to view it, we will end up losing that 20M anyway if fans stop attending. The game is fucked, recongise that and do something now and we might be able to get it back.

2.5 minutes for the stretcher then 30 seconds each for subs? If he added the correct amount of time on we'd have got the extra 10 minutes mentioned earlier
-
Get the Championship Manager fired up lads, let us know how our team's going to shape up by Friday if you please
-
Take it all I say Aim for 2nd and 3rd isnae a bad consolation at all if we don't quite make it.
-
For all there may be some over-reaction to the boy, I think you've gone completely the other way with that criticism. Sometimes we're just crying out for someone to step up and be the next Faddy and some fans may be guilty of that, but he's still just a young laddie so obviously prone to making bad decisions. When the good outweigh the bad though he's doing something right and he's done more right than wrong since he came in. He got further away from Higdon today cos he was pulled back to midfield following Lasley's red card but he is certainly a player who can, and has been thus far, make things happen out of nothing when he's been fairly anonymous in the game. That'll do for me if he keeps that up

An extra 1500 home fans for a live TV game at stupid O'Clock isnae a disaster really.
-
Quite funny to see the "What song are you listening to" thread right beside this one, cos 'up by' the honest answer would be "Haven't a fuckin' clue". Just can't make the songs out at all.

But the financial difference would make one hell of an impact on our finances in positive terms, and a negative one on Rangers.
-
Or we could get them tae fuck and stick together with the other diddy teams and vote that same proposal through when Celtic are on their own and unable to use their dual veto. That way when Rangers eventually work their way back they don't have the same carve up.
