  1. Providing a talking point aye, meaningless in my view as there is, and never has been, any 'real' threat of liquidation, much as I'd like it to happen. Hey disnae stop me commenting either so batter in, just saying likes. (I knew you'd bite anyway Jay)
  2. Not going to happen anyway so hypothetically speaking this thread means nothing very much.
  3. I would think it's even more important to have the Well Society in the current climate. If anyone on the current board thinks it's a good idea to vote Rangers back in the SPL despite their obvious cheating then we can punt them first chance we get to vote on the future make-up of the board.
  4. So on recent form McCall pishes all over old Pishypants record then?
  5. And Granpa' to claim the win on corners again, if they get far enough up the park.
  6. We'll go for a draw then Keeps both Rangers within reach and Utd at arms length.
  7. u would think so but the SPL will work it out in the most illogical fashion possible, that's about the only guarantee.
  8. We would not get away with playing that without comment Angelic Upstarts version's my favourite as it happens.
  9. For starters we could have Longshot Kick De Bucket, 007 or Liquidator played as the teams run out, not that we'd hear it in the East but the players might get it.
  10. Fuck rivalry, I despise the yella toothed c**t, that a good enough reason?
  11. Aye they're within their rights but they destroy my right to get involved in the game as we should all have been doing. It was a Cup Final FFS and the first thing everyone around me did when the whistle went was to flip the seats down and plonk their erses. A FInal is not an ordinary game where you go along to spectate quietly, I didn't see many sitting down at the Cardiff Liverpool game last week for instance. I was disappoiinted at that but wwhat can you do when so many non-regulars turn out. Can't turn them away unless they promise to join in the jumpaboot, you want as many there in C&A as possible but if they dont' get behind the team when they're there what is the point. Be better if they made the rear of the stadium for the singing section and the non regulars could sit near the front and enjoy the game. No real answer though, I hate all seaters.
  12. Well you wouldn't know for looking at them, sour faced bunch of c***s that they are.
  13. Cannae play on the positives for too long, not much else in the way of debate there cos we more or less agree on the rest of the article. Precisely why fanzines flourish during tough times for clubs and fall away when their need is lessened.
  14. And we won't get that, we are skinto people therefore it stands to reason we won't be able to afford our dream stadium. Therefore I vote we stay put cos Fir Park is a'right. Compared to a flat pack pre-fab where the only unique feature would be the colour of the seats it wins every time.
  15. Good read, but I hope the stadium issue is a no-go, better a patched up Fir Park with it's history and atmosphere than another soulless bowl with clean stairs.
  16. Some things are out of control though Gaag, witness some of the recent yellows we've received. A goodly proportion on the soft side, some just weren't.
  17. Ruined my claim for an 'assist', I caught the ball and quickly threw the back for the shy in the build-up, fine catch tae
  18. Where is the 'goal' that was chalked off? Surely a point of contention worthy of further scrutuny. Even in a belter of a game like that they still can't get a decent highlights package together
  19. It's no' finished But if we keep punching above our weight I'll be happy. The day we stop doing that in my eyes is the day the Old Firm leave and we become one of the 'establishment' clubs. Until then we'll be fighting against clubs bigger and wealthier and hopefully continue to defy the odds. Cos we are still battling against the odds IMO and always will.
  20. Close enough, 5 more points would have won it then, definitely achievable but we lacked belief going into the final weeks. We lost to Dundee Utd midweek when Rangers were going down at Easter Road, that was the killer, holding on that night would have taken us top I think with 2 games left, away to Raith (which we drew IIRC) then St J on last day. That right? Never a better opportunity
  21. Looked to me like both feet were up because his standing foot slipped, not an intential two footed lunge
  22. There wasn't just the chance of finishing 2nd back in 1995, there was the very real possibility of winning the league in 1994 which we bottled big style. Failing to win our last 3 games and eventually losing out by just 5 points with Aberdeen pipping us to 2nd place on the last day after a home defeat to relegated St Johnstone. That was our big chance, finishing 2nd the following year was fantastic placing but in reality there was no real challenge as Rangers were so far ahead. Trouble then was no-one really believed were capable of winning the league that year, which we definitely were. IMO we are just as capable of finishing 2nd this season as we were of being champions that year and itis there for us if really believe in ourselves. I never thought I'd see us with such a massive opportunity again being honest, I pray we don't fuck it up through our own self destruct button again.
  23. Still huvnae tellt him he wis talking shite about Gannon either
  24. Reckon most of us realised that months ago when this thread first surfaced.
