  1. Big crowd aye, atmosphere no better than normal, same group doing all the singing. Just more bums sitting on hands along the stands. Pricing is the single biggest factor for me, tonight proved that, not a switch to Friday nights.
  2. Really? Ah know hunners, literally hunners.
  3. That's ma 6 votes cast Motherwell born and bred and hopefully die, nowhere else I'd rather be. Probably in a minority but this shitehole is ma shitehole and I love it tae bits.
  4. Was just gonnae suggest that yin, glad I had another look back. Lovely wee song that.
  5. If all clubs take it on then no-one will be disadvantaged any more than we are now whichis why we can't act in isolation.
  6. Wis offered Gowky or Muirhouse.
  7. That went right over your head didn't it?
  8. But you can't draw a comparison when prices are pegged at a tenner and numerous freebies are being handed out. Do the same for a Saturday fixture and I'm sure you'll see a sginificant rise so any comparisons drawn will be void
  9. Family thing, think most have left it at that
  10. Don't think the Trust can be blamed for the design. FWIW I'm neither here nor there with the design, it's a memorial to a well respected and much loved Motherwell legend and I'm glad we have something in place to remember him. I thought it would be a statue personally but not too fussed at the outcome. Well done to all who played their part in making sure we have something permanent at the ground
  11. As said before my season ticket works out around £13.50, I buy it because it helps the club in the summer but mainly cos it's cheaper that way and more representative of what I think the product is worth. Once that ticket goes over £15 then I'll think again cos I don't think that is worth it. Price cuts are easy, reduce wages but we are not talking specifically Motherwell here, in general Scottish fitba' is overpriced and the industry needs to rethink it's costing before many more walk away. For too long the industry wasn't regulated and clubs just added a quid on year after year with no thoughts of the future consequences. I think they're at saturation point now, no further rises can be absorbed without losing substantial numbers of additional 'floaters', Hell mend them though, the clubs created this situation so they need to get together and do the right thing now.
  12. 15 is the absolute maximum, a fair price would be a tenner.
  13. Apparently the Green Guide tells us standing is not allowed, but then it's only a guide. And yes you're right, going round in circles here. You are getting nowhere with your arguments and deliberately ignoring others views so time to stop there I'd say.
  14. Can quote rules and regulations all day long, they need changed and only by resisting them can that be effected. If some degree of consultation had gone on before the Hillsborough findings were finished they might have avoided such a draconian knee jerk reaction, the fact is that didn't happen and fans since have ben forced to accept something which goes against their natural instincts.
  15. Here's a novel approach, why not try a price reduction and freebies for Saturday 3pm games and see how that goes once we're done this Friday one.
  16. That would be starting up an individual argument which you've said you don't want so I'll leave it there. In truth can't be arsed, you believe what you want, I'll believe what I want, neither of us is going to change views so debating the issue is pointless
  17. Kill the Bill implies something entirely different to me
  18. Let's face it, hardly crime of the century considering what used to go on in our grounds. Way I see it stewards fear for their jobs cos in the main they aren't really needed, fitba' crowds these days are pretty tame. Cause a stooshie now and again, pick an easy target mind in case ye get hurt, bingo yer jobs safe cos there's still a need for your presence. Meanwhile when any real problems arise away and hide in a corner somewhere. Mair power to the young yins, why just adhere to stupid rules, if everyone just calmly does what they're told the rules won't change, no dialogue would take place and no chance of anything being done about it. No-one in a position of authority is going to listen to reasoned debate on any subject in fitba' from a mere fan, so their hands need forced sometimes.
  19. The bill may be intended to combat sectarianism but it clearly won't. There are already laws in place to combat sectarianism but the police refuse to implement them as things stand, preferring to concentrate on easy targets like our small support. This bill will make that situation worse by giving them more powers to abuse in similar fashion.
  20. There are already widely misused powers at hand as shown, we do not need more. If the authorities cannot implement current laws fairly and properly what chance these vague new powers are going to be properly adhered to?
