Don't think we become shareholders through this, members of the exclusive club that holds shares on our behalf is perhaps a reasonable explanation.

So Levein is rightly criticised for adopting negative tactics against beatable opponents but we're on here advocating the same approach? Cup FInal proved it in my eyes, go for the c***s and you'll have a chance. Try and change your approach to suit only invites them to attack which we want to avoid. Play our game and maybe lose or change to a defensive plan and wait for the inevitable jammy defeat? Hmmmm, it's a quandary eh?

I remember getting the Trust set up and moving from WWS was a logistical nightmare, months would go by with nothing to report. Haven't a clue why these things take so long but it's certainly frustrating for those involved. Fingers crossed it's not too long cos once the momentum is lost in these things it's very difficult to crank it up again, the Trust suffered badly through the delay in finalising their transition IMO and it wasn't their fault in any way

Disappointed I couldnt make the meeting cos I have high hopes for this idea. Usual dissenters of course but without any sign of another benefactor, and personally I wouldn't welcome one anyway, this is a right good chance to have the club positioned as a 'real' community' club. I know the soundbites have been made in the past and at times it seems anything but, but this is our chance to have the club returned to us, the fans, those who want to see it prosper and play their part in our future. I don't actually see that there is any alternative, we need our fanbase to get behind this as much as they did the Well Worth Saving campaign. We will always have those who just want to go along on Saturdays and have no more involvement after the final whistle, each to their own but I would hope that enough of us will realise what a massive opportunity this is for fans to make a real difference in the way the club operates. We fuck this up and quite conceivably we don't have Saturdays to look forward to for very much longer. I personally think it's that important. If we do fuck it up then finger of blame will point straight back at those who didn't support it when the chance was there. Up to us as a fanbase, get yirsels behind it cos this is maybe the only chance we'll get to have our club run on anything like our terms.

Getting as bad as the The Sun & The Record

Lucky you, I remember a League Cup tie at Easter Road when we were also late, Motherwell scored early, we could hear the cheers round the other side so we paid into the home main stand hoping to walk through and get to the away end. Not allowed so we had to sit in the middle of the Hibees as they roared back and scudded us 6-1. Not a good night.

Hopefully, I likes it. Even more so if the Daley transfer goes through, as reported in the Star or Express the other day "Reggae Boy Omar Daley" so at least we'd have a reason to sing it since it didn't find favour with many during the Cup Final songs thread cos it bears no relation to Motherwell apparently

Couldn't give 2 fucks about Europe if I'm perfectly honest. Good excuse for a jolly but nothing more. Coming up against better cheats than we face in the SPL just means we're less likely to get anywhere so whilst it's good exposure for the club and we all get a wee bitty excited for a few weeks if we get a run like the last 2 campaigns, in the grand scheme of things it means fuck all.

Strange considering how they take the moral high ground over other fans singing about one of their own Norrie McCathie. Still only a small group just out to provoke a reaction probably, unpleasant all the same and a bit sad and pathetic really.

It is if we win Not like we can much about it anyway, normal rule of thumb approaching cup draws is a lower league team or a home draw against anyone is fine. We got one of those prerequisites so yes it's a good draw.
-
How jammy are the Sheepymeehs, ICT mess up and hand them a seeded place, they end up getting the lowest ranked team left in the draw. Jammy jammy gets. They might do them right enough which would be oh so funny.

And I was kicking fuck out of Carlisle train station cos I let the Hatcher brothers persuade me Carlisle v Chelsea (0-0 in case you're interested) was a more attractive option than another pumping at Greyskull

I'd say we were the best at the moment, Celtic stuttering, h**s don't play anything approaching halfway decent football although they were effective with their tactics against us Yep we're definitely best just now. Maybe I'm biased though

Delighted with yesterday, good competitive game as you'd expect, no-one wanted to lose so it got a bit towsy at times but I think our fitness told at the end. We played some good stuff before making a few changes which seemed to put us off our stride, FPC picked their game up as well so it wasn't a foregone conclusion at any time bar the last 10 minutes. Thanks to everyone who got the thing organised and those who turned up, meant a lot to me personally to notch that goal as well so I enjoyed my Becks back at the Electric. Now I can sit back and tell everyone how I'd do better and in my day things were different blah de blah.

I was biased maybe cos Gary was in my class at Braidhurst and I wanted him to do well so much but when he made his debut down at Queen of the South in 1982 I turned to the guy next to me and said "He's the next Glenn Hoddle" wi' his shirt outside his shorts and lean frame he looked a bit like him at least. Didn't do too badly either when he earned his place in the side.

The game of the year takes place tomorrow folks, for th iindisputable title of Motherwell Champions, the 2 supporters teams go head to head at Hamilton Palace with a 2pm kick off. Actually it's my testimonial game after deciding to officially retire after 25 years of running about kidding on ah can actually play a bit. FPC have kindly agreed to play us, kind of fitting as our first ever game as Well Trust was against FPC as well. I've signed on for another season as emergency cover only but hopefully I won't be needed as in my mind I'm finished so this game is a bit special to me. Any of the guys who were involved with Well Trust who can make it over it would be great to catch up with you over there or in the Electric Bar afterwards for a couple of swallys.. Saw a lot of smashing lads come through over the years, hopefully see some tomorrow. Cheers folks.

Think we'd get the club banned if we sung half the stuff we used to.
