  1. You're right, it's not a serious question but to me the obvious answer is stay. Look back at the previous posts and it's a no brainer, night clubs, hotels etc. Like I said before pie in the sky, all of them been tried and proved not to work. We're a (relatively small) football club, not a hotel chain or leisure complex management so all the periphery shite is oot the windae IMO.
  2. Thanks to all the guys who sent stuff, completed the job tonight, good stuff folks. On sale ICT game but as mentioned in t'other thread if anyone wants their copy at the Leeds game pre-order it by PM from me and I'll meet you up the Cooper suite before the game. I'm only taking pre-orders up with me though, no general sale that day cos friendlies are waste of time.
  3. There is the possibility it will be here in time for the Leeds friendly but to be honest I doubt it's worthwhile asking guys to go out selling, tried that before at a friendly (Porto) and sales were very poor. If anyone wants an early edition I can take some up the Cooper Suite with me but ask for them first by PM cos I don't to be carrying loads about with me all day long.
  4. It would seem I'm not in such a minority when it comes to preferring Fir Park over a new build in a 'new' town. I see it as inevitable that we'll move sadly, but I won't lend my support to it. I question the predicted 'revenue streams' we'd generate, how much more corporate space can we sell than we already do. It's pie in the sky just now, my hope is it stays that way and we find a way to upgrade Fir Park sufficiently. If there is a will for that to happen it can happen.
  5. Busta where's them drawings?
  6. Aye that would be sound Shug, you still got my number? Give us a bell next week, am off on hols til Thursday 14th
  7. Seeing as we're fae here, oors obviously.
  8. Thought he wanted a Midlands cliub cos his girlfriend was from around there?
  9. Am too lazy to search for it but how much is Morton tomorrow night?
  10. TBH I've always argued against summer fitba' until last year. Yon severe weather and the ridiculous Health & Safety laws brought me to the conclusion we need to change the timing of our season. But July? No danger, that's holiday time, we can play up to June but no games before the Fair's oot. It's essential. Your suggestion would give us ample time for a winter and summer break so that's another fae me. I would prefer 18 mind.
  11. No,much as I agree playing through December and January is a nightmare, it's too early to be playing at this time. July is holiday time, women have changed to a summer season but I'm sure even there they break in July.
  12. Hopefully I get quite a lot of half filled pages, only realised this morning that by the time I come back my hols the original deadline would have passed, the printer is going n his hols 2 days later so wouldn't have been able to rush it through if I waited til I came back so no option but to get it done before I go away. Fucking stupid time of year to be playing fitba', who's idea wis that?
  13. OSB will be out at the first home game v ICT but the deadline has had to be brought forward due to holidays (why the fuck are we playing at this time of year) There have been some guys offering contributons so please be aware I need them by email no later than this Thursday 7th July. PM me for contact details if you plan to contribute. I'm away to write my Fat Calf column on early starts to the season, fuckin' nonsense
  14. By the way, no changing rooms at the school so anyone turning up come ready, and bring trainers as well as boots. We like a wee jog thru' the Strathy before we start.
  15. Indeed a good workout, one or two folk had expressed an interest in coming along so for their information we'll be training 6pm Thursday night and 1pm Sunday afternoon for the next few weeks to get us up to speed before arranging some friendlies.Logans Primary in North Motherwell
  16. Starts today 1pm, wish us luck
  17. Tell me about it I never had a pie after they got rid of Chapmans as the supplier.
  18. And no-one cares enough to correct it so Greyskull it stays.
  19. Hopefully not in the pockets of greedy bastard agents and players.
  20. Just because we got it in the bank doesn't mean we need to spend it. Once the window closes we can maybe criticise if there is indeed a lack of required signings but if we get the players we need I won't worry about whether we used the budget fully or not.
