  1. I don't even make the bench, fuxake Gaffer
  2. I did, it was in Motherwell colours right enough, cracking flag.
  3. We'll get a few less going cos of the opposition but reckon 15,000 would cover our needs. The 91 Final was so well attended because of the family atmosphere surrounding the whole event. How many did we get for the League Cup Final a few years back?
  4. We will do what's right for our club and fuck anyone else. If that means resting important players then that would be our prerogative. Stuart McCall has no-one to answer to on that score bar us and the club. h**s will shout conspiracy if we rest players and lose but who gives a fuck? They should have wrapped it up earlier instead of relying on a last day toss-up
  5. Remember some saying exactly the same back in 91, on the way to stuff 'em at Parkheid the week before the semi final, which we subsequently drew, then everyone wrote us off for the replay tae which of course we also went and won. Never say never.
  6. And if yer maw had baws etc etc........ It's a farce, fitba' is unpredictable and this format relies on being able to predict in order to be fair. Which it doesn't, isn't and never will.
  7. To be honest the thread only asks for opinions on him so far, to my recollection the threads against him you speak of were calling for his head. Bit of a difference.

    Craig Brown

JB got it right up Broon in public, Broon made an erse of himself. I think I'll shake JB's hand for that next time I see him. Don't particularly care about the finer details, I'm happy with events and the meedja can go take a running jump to themselves same as Broon and Knox, pair of auld money grabbing baistards. Mon the JB
  9. Is it no' available on Zattoo anymore? Tried I-player and it won't allow it to be shown online.
  10. It's happening now, we have what could be termed a Cup crowd now, folk who will only turn up in numbers for important games, run of the mill league games at inflated prices just don't interest enough folk to attend on a regular basis.
  11. Ma Da' lost his bunnet, chucked it in the air after one of the goals and it never came back.
  12. Funnily enough were discussing the 1993-94 replay against them, how we were rammed in yet the official figure was 9,000 or something. That night was sold out, folk standing 4 deep at the backof the East Stand and they try to say there were 4,000 seats empty.

    Hampden

I believe that's correct. I also believe when one of the Old Firm are involved there is more chance of a packet of Fox's Ginger Crunch creams lasting over a week in my kitchen cupboard than agreement being reached on reduced prices.
  14. Whit ye on about, we're there all the time.
  15. You'll predict defeat cos you always predict defeat Yes it would be typical for us to throw it away when it seems all laid out for us but it would be equally typical for us to put on a show and coast through like we did tonight. Cos that's just what we do, no-one knows what's coming next. Love it
  16. Because I prefer to look around me rather than trust official figures. There were far more Motherwell fans there than usual, I don't care what figures have been quoted what I'm saying is a fact.
  17. It was produced for the Xara competition and came in 2nd IIRC, there's been a few discussions about it. Unfortunately I'm not in a position to upload a pic (new PC, cannae work it yet ) but sure someone will now that you've asked.
  18. There were far more Well fans there tonight compared to normal. All tonight's attendance shows is that folk will turn up for big games. And if everyone brought 2,500-3,000 travelling fans our average would shoot up.
  19. I don't even know where Petrol Blue came from, might even have been me yonks ago Anyway, I would welcome the Sampdoria style one as seen previously, not just because I had a part to play in suggesting such a design but because I think it ticks all the boxes. It doffs the cap to our traditions at a time of special note, has enough C&A to appease any doubters but it's a fine looking strip in it's own right and one that would I likely purchase from the outset, unlike the last 15 years. Has to be an away kit though.
  20. Careful, my mate was going to name his first born after the scorer of the winning goal in the 1991 Final, but shat out it when it was mentioned the possibility of Miodrag Krivokapic O.G.
