    Away Kits

Agreed but I don't want every UK club done, I only want ours

    Away Kits

Apparently our Untouchables kits were going to be exactly like that but a last minute change of heart meant we opted for a collar the same colour as the rest of the jersey. Personally I think that looks cracking with the contrast collar. Yon Historical kits site should have an away kit page as well, we've had some belting away kits.

    Away Kits

RIght I have a photo of our Summer Cup win back in 1965, we wore an away kit of Claret body with an amber hoop, the reverse of our usual home kit basically. Anyone know if this was a one-off for the Final against Dundee Utd or did we use that for a few seasons? I know we wore what was known as the Floodlight strip in the early 60s (white with thin Claret & Amber hoop) so when did that one stop being worn if at all?
  4. Come on guys you're getting a bargain there. We had an away shirt for auction tonight at our team POTY and fetched £65, must be worth more than £40. PS Sorry ankles if I'm getting in your way.
  5. Aye it was a decent night out, Photos no possible as I was in so much of a rush I forgot the camera, shit happens. Grievesie = Star turn with his stripper dance culminating in a major collapse on the floor and a 3 way struggle to rip his pants aff. What is it they call that now, is it a wedgie?
  6. So what was the correct answer then? IIRC the Scottish Brewers thing was only a Cup sponsorship, we didn't have their logo all the way through the season.
  7. Me tae, never took to them after their cheating back here. Still it was a compliment in a way that they felt the need to resort to such tactics to ensure victory. That and I could never see me wearing a luminous yella jersey like they had.
  8. Could have bought a ticket anyway Just a note to confirm pay at the door will be available tonight for anyone making a late decision. Hope to see some of you there. I'd leave them both with the big team, we don't really need them at our level as our current strikers already have a goal a game record or better and our goalie disnae wear pink
  9. All the more reason to appreciate them if you weren't.
  10. Cannae believe no-one thought to preserve that wall and relocate it, iconic image as you approached the ground.
  11. Or maybe they'll be delayed as well because we don't have a sponsor in place yet. Who knows.
  12. I think you can take it as read that is exactly what will happen. Folk will take their lead from these discussions, it happens, and transfer that to matchdays. You know as well as I do, no matter how well Fraser plays or few mistakes he makes he is not going to be accepted by large swathes of our support now. Everything that can be said about Fraser and Ruddy has now been said so it's about time we shut the fuck up about it and see how things pan out. Continually panning Fraser does nothing bar maybe confirm doubts in the minds of some fans who may not quite have come down on the negative side yet. And do me a favour, don't get the happy clappy hammer out eh the cupboard for anyone who disnae think along the same lines. It seems opinions are only allowed when it suits some folk.
  13. On a par them two I'd say mon the Provi
  14. See at the end of the day it's fuck all to do with any of you. If Granpa decides he's going wi' Fraser as first choice then no amount of weeping and wailing will change that. If he's as bad as some of youse make out he'll not last beyond the Euro campaign cos Granpa knows more about fitba' than any of you have completed Champ Man games.
  15. And ma hoose is Claret & Amber but everyone doon here knows what I am so that's all right.
  16. As it says in the title, our awards night is this Saturday in the Cooper Suite at Fir Park. Buffet, disco, laugh at the prizewinners on the long walk up to collect their trophies. It's been a reasonable season, a rebuilding job after last year and after a shaky start I think we can be justifiably proud of a 4th place finish following our late rally. Beating Accies and Airdire in successive matches near the end was most gratifying I have to say from a personal point of view. So everyone is welcome to join us to close the season with a shindig. The Slosh, The Hucklebuck, a wee bit of Ska as well maybe, all the ingredients for a good old end of season knees up are there if ye fancy it. Tickets are £5, contact me by PM or any one of the team. If you fancy turning up on the night let us know beforehand so we can gauge approximate numbers.
  17. If your estate is anything like the scheme then I'd wager he disnae fuckin' care man.
  18. Add it all up and what do you get?
  19. Maybe giving the one fingered salute tae the celebrating Arabs would give you a clue?
  20. Taste also has nothing tae dae wi' French cooking. Whit dae Yanks know about the nuances of the Scottish kitchen? I thought a roll and mince was more of a Dundee delicacy? Wisnae frosty here, and sun is shining brightly just now. More answers will be challenged as and when they emerge.
  21. BUt if the Champions cannae beat us then who's to say........
  22. Are you kidding? After getting dogs abuse from all over the shop they're hardly going to come out and say "Hopefully this one won't go tits up after a year", can't see any further forward than this season, that's fitba' these days so they're right to say nothing more than that. Still think you're looking for things that aren;t there.
  23. Methinks you;'re looking for something that isnae there.
  24. A piece n cheese probably, you seen them cook anything yet? Leccy's probably aff.
  25. Who calls it eggy bread? Even sounds wrong Some weird yins aboot so there is. Eggy Breid!!! Toasted cheese!!!! FFS
