    Jim O'Brien

O'Brien's crossing wisnae that clever if ye remember, room for improvement obviously but JIm was in a similar position not so long ago. Good luck to him at Barnsley, not really fussed whether he stayed or left to be honest. I reckon he's far from the finished article still and not his biggest fan but he did a job Maybe best button his lip down there though, might end up wi' a sair face if he shouts at his new team-mates when they don't give him the ball like he did here.
  2. Al have a couple of them, some folk just want something for nothing.
  3. Then he can get himself a new Stone Island jumper wi' the signing on fee, he's hud the same yin on for too long noo, getting like Dale Winton
  4. Should ask the Trust to sponsor it and just get 'Dossers' on the front, that do?
  5. That was maybe the comical hold-up Flow mentioned We don't actually have the kit yet!
  6. Assumption being they will ever truly replicate grass, I have my doubts so until then it's not an issue.
  7. Haven't played on them so 3rd Gen is all I have to base my judgement on, and they are nowhere near good enough yet. Maybe if I have an opportunity to play on the new stuff I'd change my mind but until then I'm staying in the NO camp.
  8. Boyd isnae playing apparently, one booking away from a ban which carries over until next season. Paper talk granted but yesterdays Express reported that, find they're a bit more accurate than the main two jobies, Thomson as well.

Ach everybody uses that one, think outside the box BB
  10. When they come up with one you can safely perform a sliding tackle then they've cracked it, until then the fuckers are dangerous.

I hear that's definitely not the most favourite phrase 'Up By' But aye, the single most comebackist of comebacks yer ever likely tae see, ever!!!!
  12. It's not a hang your head in shame offence, or questioning your allegiance. You/we all have our own ways of suporting the Dossers and as long as we keep doing it there's no case to answer. We're all Well fans together after all, it's just funny that even folk who don't like fitba' are laughing at ye for missing such an amazing history making turnaround. I've had my 5 minutes worth cos I was on holiday and missed the Flamurtari gemme, take it on the chin, accept ye made a rip roaring c**t of it and enjoy Sunday and Europe in July hopefully
  13. I'd be disappointed if they said it was, mon the grass
  14. He did well for St Mirren so maybe they were just jealous when he signed. Reckon him and Mehmet were good together, hmmmm.

There was a marked difference around us which maybe gave me a skewed idea of the attendance but as said before last 3 sections of the East were rammed with folk standing up the back all game. Cooper looked more full than usual as well. Who gives a fuck anyway, the players got nervous in front of a bigger crowd as per, relaxed when half them left and we were back to normal and those of us who stuck it out got our reward. New stadium should have a hidden section miles away from the pitch so the players can only see empty seats down the front else we'll never win.
  16. In 45 years of watching Motherwell I have never seen anything quite like that, like Geoff Baby the 5-4 v Killie was ranked as one of the best games but to come back the way we did tonight was just phenomenal.
  17. You still oottae breath fae trying tae catch up wi' the one legged Juke?
  18. Hmmm, and who was in goals that night? And it's raining, oor Amber predicted it would rain tonight, I could be sitting oot in it having been locked oot the hoose and ah widnae gie a fuck Apart fae ah widnae be able tae watch the Juke's goal over and over cos I don't feel tired in the slightest.
  19. I felt like that having been forced to leave Parkheid early (to save myself fae getting carvbed up mind you) way back early 80s and Bobby Flavell scored a consolation goal late on in a 3-1 defeat. If I felt bad about that imagine how tonight would have felt. I've never left a game early since no matter how bad it got, finally this game proves it's just not worth the risk.
  20. Did not expect that Fuckin' barking mad gemme of fitba'

Booked once and even that was a mistake IIRC. It's the Motherwell way

Good players don't need to foul, ask the Kaiser
  23. If the 'national' press did their job it would be common knowledge. Having given up reading newspapers and watching news I don't know if we still get ignored on issues like this but I'd hazard a guess that we do.

As SD says this thread is about Marky boy so let's leave it there, the rest is conjecture cos he could very well pull a few more rabbits out the hat, given his record I'd be confident on that score. Points been made about the continual digs.
  25. SD how did you manage to post that twice but the first one was two minutes later than the second one. ? Naaaah forget it, it's fixed.
