Am wi' you, always get a sair heed around this time and stick it on the back burner til the draw is actually made.

If he does go it won't affect us anyway so not bothered in the slightest, won't begrudge him his cash-in move but it won't work out well in all likelihood. Only way is down after the Mighty

Doesn't say if the SFL wanted more money to filter down or just a different distribution model for the proposed amounts? Can't see a problem with it being the latter mind you. FWIW getting rid of the SPL 'brand' would be top of my agenda once agreement had been reached and the finer details were being worked out..

Terrible beard though, needs rid of that, our kit looks bad enough without him making it worse with a full blown face fuzz like that.

St Johnstone V Motherwell, 19 May 2013 At 12.45Pm
fatcalf replied to Toxteth O'Grady's topic in Club Chat
That game is the one I remember well, Ken Davies allegedly told St J to expect 6-700 max, I spoke to Ken during the week leading up to that game so I know this was true, I told him straight we'd take min 2500 but he wouldn't listen. No blame on Saintees that time, nor this as I believe a similar scenario unfolded with our estimates being way out once more. A simple glance at t'internet could have told them they were miles out in their guesstimate. Does no-one watch the web up there? -

Not the first time Motherwell have done that to Saintees. Was mentioned last week, does no-one take time to look at the sites or Facebook pages? Even then we knew there was going to be lots more than 5-600 Well fans travelling. -
What potential for disaster? Making things up these c***s and getting away with it.

Patter merchant that laddie Don't be fazed by the lethargic group in the corner who will still be recovering from their game earlier, some may be unable to move a muscle other than their drinking arm, this is normal for a few hours after 90 minutes of fitba' as they attempt to extort drinks from other, more able, beings.

Simple facts, you play 2nd Div opposition every week you turn into a 2nd Div player yourself, maybe a better than average 2nd Div player but you still aren't operating at maximum level so you slip back both in mindset and effort. Hard to pick yourself up from that again, to get back to your previous level. Nicky wid be mental to consider that with his current upward spiral of form. He needs to keep progressing, not take 2 steps backwards. And anyone advising him to go down that path must have a vested interest, it's certainly not for the players benefit apart from his bank balance which can be matched by any of the clubs interested I'm quite sure.

Pies this season have been rotten, definitely not Chapmans so something's happened and not been made public.
-
So we do the same thing at the start of next season and hopefully many of those who loved it so much will be on it like a shot. And encourage their pals as well. Need to build on it rather than just smile and say "That was fun"

I tried uploading a vid this morning that failed as well, welcome to the Luddites Club. Was a quality wee sing song, funny to see kids from further along and up the top deck filtering down towards that section. Wee group grew from about 12 to nearly a hundred I think

Nae wonder they got voted on the board, wi' that kind of dosh they'd have been in the frame Well Society or not

There's the very reason I'm disappointed with the disparity between Cooper and East offers. Cooper offers 2 free U-16 places with an adult season whilst East only offers 1 U-13. More kids want involved in the 'crazy corner' naturally, chance is there to create a space twice the size of the current area and really spread the message that Fir Park is the place to be for youngsters. How many of those currently there were attracted back by the involvement as opposed to the actual fitba' on display I wonder. I reckon the answer would sway more towards involvement despite what has been a great season on the park. If the kids enjoy their day out they will want to return, if they're forced to sit and watch from afar the enjoyment aspect is diluted. Use this resource properly and we have a real foothold for the future potentially.

That's the kind of thing the club should be looking at encouraging after yesterday, I know they make a lot of commitment to young fans as it is, but follow ups are essential after yesterday to try and keep those kids coming back, even giving them the bottom tier every game against teams with smaller support for instance. Everyone could see how much the young kids were loving being part of it, it's not all about watching the game, it's about fan involvement and many of those kids wanted to be involved so much they came running down from upstairs and other areas to join in. I was attracted by the chance to get involved way back in The Choir and the terracing. Opportunity is there for a good few converts.

Linked with Vigurs were we not? Like the look of him but if wee Higgy can work out a deal I'd take him left mid first.

No' Chapmans anymore anyway, I gave up ages ago. If they get Chappies back I might return to the pie stall, til then they're losing my £40 as well
-
They wet their pants at a day with a 'Y' in it cos it means another opportunity to write up some Super Sally drivel. Let me see now, Burnley, Birmingham, Sheff Utd, Rangers????? Aye fucking right
-
That will only apply until the Old Firm fuck off, then sure as eggs are eggs the amount will pare down, no question the winners deserve a bigger share, it is prize money after all but 'sharing' the money around should mean just that, with everyone sharing, not just the 11 diddy clubs who still believe they need the scraps off these parasites to survive and seem shit feart to stand their ground..

Al B's too fuckin auld both in body & mind, aimed at the youngsters and opened out to the masses in case anyone else fancies it, leave the laddies alone ya auld duffer FWIW al buy yin for my lad but doubt I'd wear yin either

Why ever not? All 3 kits registered this season so why not next?

I'm going the opposite way, the more I look at it I just think, what a wasted opportunity. Bring back traditional shorts n socks and team it up with a monstrosity. All that was required was a simple jersey for a potential classic, in fact either of the last 2 jerseys would have topped it off. Ach well, never happy me
