  1. If it's that important to ye, fire in. I know the truth though.
  2. You care far too much about being proved right, I can't even be bothered reading all that never mind reply to it. Later
  3. And the way I saw it was he wasn't the best of keepers but five tried and failed so he must be at least 6th worst. Most of his memorable mistakes were non-goalkeeping ones, e.g. the Durie howler, the one that came off Leitchy's back as well. Concentration levels I'd say but howlers all the same. BTW in value for money terms he pished all over Goram's record considering the wages they was respectively getting. Doesn't make him a better keeper granted but we got what we paid for, a £90 Grand keeper fae Preston. (at a time when we were paying big money in relative terms) Woodsy had no illusions about himself, that quote came directly from him. None of the above managed to keep him out so at least give him credit from continually winning his place back. If you can't then I just take it you hate the guy and can't see past that. Then again you might just look on the negative side al the time
  4. Fuckin' Hell, OSB's taking a right kicking in this thread eh no? Think ah need tae change jobs.
  5. Hateley Hateley set up a goal?
  6. Or maybe it was as simple as his goalscoring ratio being good, same as Stevie Kirk. I remember Kirky scoring against Raith Rovers at Fir Park and being physically restrained from giving the East Stand the finger or some similar gesture cos of the abuse he got from there. Foran got plenty pelters as well but both players are fondly remembered perhaps because they scored plenty goals for us.
  7. Oooohhhh I hate that, clever clogs say that

  17. Shuggie Shuggie swing on the bar Nae way he's worthy of mention in here, and anyway which jersey wid that be? The blue yin he wore agin ra Shellic or the green yin he wore against the Vile h*n?
  18. we have this same argument every time this subject crops up. If you don't like the idea you don't like it, no need for any more discussion and showing how much you fail to grasp the reasoning behind it.
  19. No we didn't, we ended up with more from Wigan because we got it in one go. Hearts wanted al sorts of clauses, paying extra when he achieved a certain number of appearances, International caps etc. Their offer totalled about £300,000, nowhere near the Million pound figure that Jefferies meedja chums bandied about. And anyway they wouldnae have paid it, Dundee were stil waiting on money for Neil McCann and Jim Hamilton 3 years later I heard.
  20. If I did then I'm pleased with that mate, good to see the team followed the script with 2 goals at the Cooper end for Elky against St Mirren. You look after your family now, there'll be tough times ahead still I'm sure, for everyone.
  21. Thanks UBH, was going to ask if anyone could do the Samp one and that first ever C&A kit, there's your tribute right there for the 100 years anniversary.
  22. That's not much of a bait Neil, at least make it believable.
  23. Isn't that exacty what McLeish inherited?
