I was told when I booked bus seats last week that the bus tickets would be available to pick up this week. Anyone confirm as thats true as they said it would notify on website etc

The thing is that most of these sport occassions you mentioned are included in the broadcasting "crown jewels" meaning they have to be shown on terrestrial tv. Sky and BT sport have hours of programming to fill in the summer they might just pay more for a reasonably high profile league to show. Also given they don't have much on they might help market the shit out of it. Given how awful the current marketing is that cannae be a bad thing. Personally speaking i'm all for a shift to summer fitba, hate the idea of parting with cash to freeze my baws off watching players basically trying to stave of hypothermia

I've emailed the club before saying i think they should investigate whether copying the Flexible ticket option used by Glasgow Warriors rugby at Firhill. The ticket is bought at a discount to the pay at the gate price and can be used for any league or european cup game. As I know i'll not be able to make every game i tend to buy two or three at a time and get more when i run out. Also as they're affordable enough to buy as birthday presents or stocking fillers at christmas it means that i've had them as gifts. Whereas your old auntie may not know to but you a ticket for a specific game if she knows you're a well fan a flexi ticket can be used at any game. Plus point for the club is that they get cash in even when there's no game on as i tend to buy my tickets in between matches. Deffo think it could work and the discount to PATG is a real bonus. Could even sell them as singles, batch of 5 or ten whatever scaling the discount accordingly. Obviously the flexi ticket may not be valid for certain categories of games such as Old Firm. On a greater scale i think getting a ticket like this SPL wide (outside OF) would be a goer as well - i.e ticket allows you access to any SPL match - might help increase away attendances Certainly think we need to be more creative with ticketing for games

As pointed out above, the current 12 team set up while far from perfect has in the last few seasons kept most teams with something to play for into the later stages of the season. I don't see what the 10 team set up offers that the current set up doesn't. You could easily start the season earlier, have a play off and a couple of weeks break in the winter to try and imprpove things slightly. That's not to say i wouldn't prefer 16 teams but I just can't see how the 10 team league set up is an improvement on status quo. When everyone agreed that change was needed at the end of last season - the complaint was the product on the park and the review of the league set up should have been with that in mind not with the primary concern of how to make the teams more money. Levein saying the 10 team league will improve the national team by being better for youngsters - well i find that baffling. He who pays the piper calls the tune eh Craig!

But surely the current 12 team set up has this excitement - was it last season or the season before where 11 teams out of the 12 had something to play for going into the last couple of games.
