Yes Aaroy is our only striker at the moment, and that is a no good situation for us. Rekdall is looking to buy one or two strikers but they will not be ready for the games against M'well anyhow. The threadstarter who lives in Alesund seem to make you believe this will be an easy match. I hope your players are reading in here as well and makes the same conclusion. Look, easy math. You won 1-0 in both matches against Breidablik. A small club from Iceland. We are the 4'th club in Norway now. We are 15 times the population of Iceland with a lot of money in football. Our league can not be that bad...no way !

Just a note: We are Aalesund or Aafk, not Aalesunds..skip the "s" I think we played a good game against Valerenga and won 1-0 yesterday. You have a Bruce guy on another thread trying to make you believe that we are a really bad side, but he is so dead wrong. The Tippeliga is not that bad and the pace of the game is quite fast with hard tackles. Motherwell will have to be 100% concentrated trough 90 min+ if they are not to be punished. And they will be I think. This will be fun !

Well it is hard for a Molde fan to accept that Aalesund was the fittest side in the cup final I guess. But if you want to believe that Aalesund is crap and will be an easy win go ahead, the game will still have to be played first.. But useful information. We do not use credit cards much though. Congrats with the victory in Iceland. As expected but still a good feeling I would believe ! I see the discussions on how to get here and prices, and I have a just a little information to this. Bergen-Aalesund by car is a drive that will take about 6-7 hours in a normal speed. There are 2 or 3 ferries on this route as well. Expect approx £15 per ferry. If you like nice scenery then this is a fantastic trip ! (bring a GPS) Oslo-Aalesund is also about 7 hours. Better roads and decent scenery. Oslo is crap, but it gets better as you approach Aalesund. If you go by car: Keep within or close to the speed limits ! Fines are astronomic...easy £300 - up. Another airport to check prices via is Trondheim. Trondheim is a 5 hour drive from Aalesund. Ask if there is something you would like to know.

Well Skeid is just one amongst several clubs in Oslo. Vålerenga is the best and most popular one, and the only one with decent attendance. Skeid is known as a club that delivers quite a few talents for bigger clubs. In Aalesund we are filling the stadium in almost every game we play, and I am sure it will be packed on our first Euro match. And yes, we are about 45000 in our community but people also comes from the areas surrounding our town to watch the team. (BRA means GOOD...SA means uhhhh..nothing I guess )

Wow...suddenly I was allowed to post in here ! Hope it is ok that we as Aafk fans are posting in your forum. Motherwell will for sure be our opponent on CLS 29/07. I do not think Breidablik can beat as they where unable to get an away goal in the first match in Scotland. I have no idea how a meeting between our teams will be. I see some of you are judging the norway premiere league by Rosenborgs performance in the champion league qualification. Well...check again tonight as I am sure they will give Linfield quite a beating in todays game in Trondheim.. Aafk does not as you have discovered play a possession type of game. But the long satelite high passes to our 204cm tall striker is not something we see in our best games either. Quick forward orientated passes on the flanks and massive attacking in the box is what we eager to achieve. I am sure Motherwell are a physical and strong side with good basics in the individual players. But I am not sure how fast the paste of your games are. It will be interesting to see, and I will be surprised if you are able to outplay us. Aalesund is a beautiful city. Hope as many of you as possible are able to take the trip over. Bring money, clothes for all seasons and a fishing rod.. Friendly people that really knows how to drink beer, sing and yell. I am sure you can't beat us on that, can you...?
