  1. As it stands they're in the non-seeds with us. PSV could make it - only a point behind Feyenoord with 1 to play. They would move up to the seeds (co-eff 76) if it goes their way. Also if Copenhagen have a disaster in their last game (lose and goal diff swing of they'll drop to 2nd and they might be seeded.
  2. OK. At this precise moment, as far as I understand, these are the seeds and their co-efficient for the non-champions route: CSKA Moscow 80.566 Braga 63.069 Dynamo Kiev 62.026 Panathanaikos 50.920 Fenerbahce 41.615 And theses are the non-seeds: Brugges 35.480 Feyenoord 12.603 Rapid Bucharest 8.764 Nordsjaelland 8.005 Motherwell 6.728 There are still a few games to be played (5 in Romania, 1 or 2 in others) so this may, and probably will, change.
  3. For the record - XBMC is available for most mainstream OS. There's plenty of info out there on the official xbmc.org and the not-so-official xbmchub.com iOS is a bit trickier to setup but laptop/desktop versions are a scoosh. Also for the record - XBMC is actually the mutts nutts. I have it on iPod, MacBook and AppleTV. On-demand and/or live streaming of nearly anything/everything you could wish for.
  4. Alternatively, you could jailbreak the iPad and install XBMC, then SportsDevil and Navi-X plugins. note - not all versions of iPad and iOS are jailbreakable yet but it's a fairly simple process if your version is.
  5. We got the extra place due to Swiss teams' poor performances rather than our good performances. I remember a big thing being made of it at the time as McGeady scored the winner for Spartak Moscow against Basle. http://news.bbc.co.u...rem/9407038.stm
  6. Oooooh! Controversial!!! Especially in the current climate.
  7. Cup Final weekend has landed. All that exists now is fans, buses, pubs and football. I've got 48 hours off from the world, man. I'm gonna blow steam out my head like a screaming kettle, I'm gonna talk '52 and '91 to strangers all day, I'm gonna lose the plot in the West Stand. The Steelmen inside me are freakin', man! Tonight I'm Scoojy O'Neill, I'm Stevie Kirk. I'm going to Hampden Park with my chosen family, man. We're gonna celebrate more than Neil Lennon ever could, anything could happen tomorrow, you know? This could be the best day of my life. I've got 1886 quid in my back burner* - I'm gonna wax the lot, man! The Scottish Cup is on me! Yeah! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yS09mKA2xw *Not true, but it goes with the theme
  8. Here's another little something from 1991 I found today!
  9. Can't decide between my Welltrust FC training top from a few years back or the first/only outing for Kaiser's 2005 CIS semi jersey (that I won in a raffle on this very site).
  10. And here I thought you just took photies!!
  11. Going to be looking it out again tomorrow to sit and look through with the wee man.
  12. Nice one! I see a Canaries badge in the corner, too. Who's is that?
  13. Or, being cynical, they know that people are willing to buy anything Motherwell at the moment. So when they run out of the popular stuff it's a good chance to get rid of the stuff that's been there for ages. Although, I doubt that's the case as Dave did say above that due to our colours it's not so easy to source items and have them here quickly. Then, of course, we get lots of new stuff to choose from the the new season.
  14. Just had a phone call from The Sun/Carling with regards to the half-time challenge but it seems they've already sorted out a 'Well fan and were looking for a Celtic fan. As soon as I said I supported Motherwell the guy said 'You Motherwell, too. Thanks.' and hung up. Ooooh! So close.
  15. I've probably missed a trick here given that I work in all the primary schools in Motherwell doing IT support. Unfortunately due to a death in the family, combined with all the recent holidays, I've not been in many schools over the last few weeks. Glencairn are definitely planning something, I'm assuming Logans will be doing something (perhaps with encouragement from fatcalf?) and I'd be surprised if Knowetop didn't do something. I've heard nothing else otherwise. That's not to say it's not happening. This was my thinking -The main supplier of computers/devices to North Lanarkshire schools, XMA, are really trying to promote themselves in Scotland at the moment (they have recently given iPods away at Dalziel's science fair) and I'm fairly sure some sort of offering as a prize could have been arranged (iPad/iPod) for best school effort. I'm assuming some arrangement, perhaps in return for some publicity, could be reached with the club. However, as my bosses are regulars at Celtic Park it would probably have had to be done directly between the club and XMA and my involvement would have had to be minimal. I know it's very short notice now (for the club and the schools) but if anyone at the club reads this and wants a name and contact details then feel free to contact me.
  16. The wee guy loved it but I didn't let him take them out of my sight. The papers are getting a bit brittle and the final programme is in pristine condition so didn't want them ruined. I'll sit with him again and read through them over the next few weeks. Spent all my pocket money on every paper I could get hold of so had more than that but lost a shoebox full of stuff in a house fire in 1994. Luckily the important stuff survived. The Celtic programme is gubbed 'cos we stood in the family section at the 'Celtic end' which was uncovered and it pissed down the whole night. When it went to replay there was no way my dad was taking the risk of getting soaked and stood under cover in the 'Rangers end' even though there were no concessions there. About the only time my dad's spent more than he had to for anything.
  17. I looked out a box of stuff from 1991 to show my 6 year old boy, in an attempt to get him (more) excited about the final. I've recently moved house and found it during the move so knew exactly where to find it, I just thought I'd share it.
  18. Could be interested in a seat for me and my boy. We're in Morningside so Shotts is close enough. Need to get to Fir Park tomorrow to make sure we get tickets first, though. Let me know once you have a price.
  19. http://sport.scotsman.com/sport/Moira-Gord...p?articlepage=1 According to this article, they wanted their contract altered before signing so they could have control over all footballing aspects. It leads to another question - what was the issue with a previous manager and the youth set up? It may be out there but I can't remember anything at the moment.
  20. OK. Had a bit of time to work it out. From May 1991 to July 2010, given the average yearly rate (not calendar year, season year) of inflation, £7 roughly works out as £10.64.
  21. Haven't had time to work it out exactly but somewhere between £10 & £11.
  22. Just in case SuperSteelman's link has any issues (It was the link for the Champions League but probably points to the same place) http://video.uefa.com/video/Competitions/U...videoFlash.html
  23. It's only Fir Park Primary that's moving to a joint campus with Cathedral. Fir Park Secondary will still be housed in the current building. Knowetop is going nowhere.

The guy sitting behind me blamed Brown for the injury - because he'd kept Marc on the bench too long! The same guy was screaming for Brown to get subs on even although the ball didn't go out of play for the best part of ten minutes after our goal. Obviously has a problem with the manager.
