I’m actually a wee bit disappointed Laura Brannan has had to leave the podcast to take up post at MFC cos she was always good for a bit of inside info and was always positive and on our side when it came to fighting our corner.

According to twitter (can't remember who said it), The top/bottom 6 split was as expected based on last season's positions so all teams should have an even split of home & away fixtures. Only the 2nd time this has happened since the split became a thing apparently.

It's not really about voicing opinions, it's about those who clearly saw superstars coming through the ranks and are upset at the club for doing nothing about it. To some on here it's black & white whether some of these guys were going to make it, or not. As for previous suggestions that we can't compare the current crop to the likes of Dom Thomas - If I recall correctly, Thomas was the next Faddy and the chat in the stands, and on the forums, was that he was going to tear teams apart and move for megabucks. The hype around him in particular was much bigger than any of the current crop. Although that might have been that thing where the longer they don't play, the better they get.

Heard on a podcast this week that Murphy's contract has a compulsory purchase clause. Not sure how true that is, or what other conditions are attached to that clause, but it seems it was 'you will buy him once you've got season ticket money'

Was there this morning and got tickets in A7. There was the odd ticket for the front 5 or 6 rows of other sections but they're mostly sold out. I got 7 tickets, 6 of us are season ticket holders . I'd imagine there'll be a wee bit left for public sale. It was also said that they're still processing a lot of the phone orders, now that the ticket office has settled down a bit, so they can't say exactly how many they've sold until those are all allocated.
