Okay, I'll assume that you could have worded your opinion better as you mentioned only Miller as an example. I agree that not all of those with Scottish ancestry are necessarily fully committed to Scotland. However, being born outside of Scotland (like myself) doesn't automatically make someone not Scottish. I'll give you Richard Gough, Andy Goram, Stuart McCall and Kieran Tierney as examples of proud Scotsmen born outside the country.
I see that both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have requested that a non-Turk referees their next game and a Slovenian has been appointed.
I was thinking that Celtic and Rangers could do with something similar (and VAR too) to stop their whining.
That got me thinking that maybe we should be moving in the direction of a pool of fullrime professional European, British and Irish referees that can officiate in any top flight league games. It would cut down on any conscious or unconscious bias and maybe would bring up the standard of the weaker officials i.e. ours.
Booing, shouting and jeering are three different things. None of them are legitimate criticism, they're just noise. Criticism should be reasonable, balanced and constructive like, for example, the majority of your posts are ill thought out and poorly worded which results in an overly negative narrative.
