  1. The wordings of those two rules are vague enough to let Celtic off the hook. In fact, per Rule H36, we could even take the blame as the home team: "H36 The home club in any official batch must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, H36.1 good order and security; H36.2 that policies and procedures have been adopted and are implemented to prevent incidents of unacceptable conduct; and H36.3 that any incidents of unacceptable conduct are effectively dealt with, all at its stadium on the occasion of an official match. "H37 Each Club must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that: H37.1 its Players, officials, supporters and any person exercising a function for or connected with the club do not engage in unacceptable conduct at a stadium on the occasion of an official match; H37.2 it identifies any of its supporters who engage in unacceptable conduct at an official match; and H37.3 it takes proportionate disciplinary measures in respect of supporters so identified in terms of Rule H37.2."
  2. That was actually pretty good, took me about five minutes before the penny dropped though. Blame my English accent.
  3. You did well. My A.I. gave me John McGlynn, Scott Brown and Russell Martin.
  4. I'm relaxed about it too. The fact that the traditional "Who do we want next?" thread hasn't been rolled out yet suggests that most of us feel the same way and trust our new board.
  5. Bob Dylan's still there though. Like MFC, he's changed his manager a few times with varying success.
  6. I feel dirty typing this, but seems that Rangers fans have actually been fairly well-behaved at Fir Park. The stairways mostly clear, no reported damage, no pitch invasions (since the play-off). I'd be in favour of giving Celtic the upper tier only and bill them for loss of revenue from the empty seats. We'll stop billing them and open the lower tier when their fans learn how to behave themselves.
  7. I'm hoping that he realises that he's onto a good thing here and could build something really special in 2-3 years. He's got a lot Toulouse if he gambles on moving to France.
  8. Yep, totally agree. This'll be the first summer when I'm really not bothered about transfers. We may lose some important players, but they'll be replaced like-for-like. I'm confident that the club is in safe hands now and feel relaxed about it all. Looking forward to another good season.
  9. Or maybe both while we're there. Two decent players available for free and for them they get to be part of the best footballing side in Scotland.
  10. Sam Nicholson off to Livi. Good move for him, wish it had worked out for him at Fir Park as he's a tidy player and seems a decent guy. All the best!
  11. Yes. Max Rogers. Twelvety. Yes.
  12. Hope the team wear it again at the weekend so that it isn't just remembered for 'that game'.
  13. Ooh, that kit though, might need to find some money for tomorrow.
  14. Maybe he's trying to unsettle Celtic tonight.
  15. Good goal, think it was meant as a cross though. I liked McKinstry and he seemed to be the only bright spot during Hammell's time, but he definitely wasn't a Kettlewell type of player. Shame as he probably would have done well in the current setup.
  16. SODs or Gordon, went for the latter as he didn't look as if he hadn't played much in months and slotted in really well.
  17. As much of a dive as the Hearts one. Should have been bookings for both.
  18. Looked soft to me. Either way Welsh should've got back up again quicker.
  19. Big Dec seems to be on his way out of RossCo, though.
  20. The initial pass from Watt was a thing of beauty.
  21. Did anyone head over for this and are Bellshill champs yet?
  22. Pat's a great speaker and has a lot of good stories to tell. He came over to Guernsey for our annual literary festival after his book came out (which I bought, read and enjoyed). He's really not the pantomime villain that a lot of Motherwell fans want him to be, so I highly recommend going along and listening to what he has to say about our club that he still has a great deal of affection for.
