  1. Can't blame any manager for players playing bad passes, taking poor first touches and not tracking runners from midfield.
  2. Relieved that it was only two, slight improvement second half.
  3. Bad habits? Like having to have the last word? I'd rather read posts by someone with strong opinions - whether I agree or not - and provides reasoning for those opinions.
  4. Wilkinson is a quality finisher and it is not his fault that he has been pushed out wide or dropped into midfield. We need to play to his strengths to get the best out of him - probably wingers would be best but that isn't an option at the moment. His disallowed goal against St. Johnstone was a thing of beauty and, dare I say it, van Veen-esque in its execution. There's his equaliser against Ross County too, another quality finish.
  5. Paton in for Obika. I'd expect an extra midfielder an one up top away to a top six team so fairly happy with that.
  6. No. I like Paton, he does a lot of breaking up play and moving the ball on quickly but I think we have seen his weakness now. Defensively he seems to lose his man too often and it has cost the team goals. Davor did well, no defensive lapses yet and I think that he deserves to keep his place.
  7. He's from Paisley so he already is home.
  8. I'd take a point but I'll go for 1-0 with Bair scoring and Kelly man of the match.
  9. Gave it to Gent but I thought that Davor had a good game too as did SODs at centre half.
  10. I think that the key difference is the performances which aren't as bad as when Hammel was in charge. Going into the last ten minutes one or two goals down, Hammell's team would not have fought back to win points.
  11. Pish. That's no better than our commentator constantly getting Obika and Mugabi mixed up.
  12. Not a fan of your phrasing as the gentleman in question actually has a name but I agree with you. Daniel Philips is exactly the kind of midfielder that we need and, although he was poor in the last game, he controlled the midfield when playing against us last season.
  13. Butcher has a calf injury and is out, Casey is suspended but no word on his injury, McGinn still being assessed for a return.
  14. Thought Bevis was the best of a bad bunch first half and Davor did well second half. SODs was average first half but did well at centre half after all the substitutions were made so somehow scrapes it. He played the full ninety and was the least worst.
  15. Was Bevis injured? Potentially without him, Butcher and Casey at the weekend.
  16. Tony Mowbray. Sacked by Sunderland but seems like most were sad to see him go. No money to spend, brought youth players into the first team, nearly got promoted.
  17. Really hoped that Kettlewell would be able to get back to winning ways but looking very unlikely. Wonder if Tony Mowbray would be interested.
  18. 'atmosphere only' is being a wee bit optimistic for Dingwall though.
  19. First we couldn't afford to turn on the undersoil heating at the weekend, now we can't afford a commentator! We're doomed, we're skint, etc, etc.
  20. I agree with that and if we can shithouse our way to tenth place at the end of the season then that's fine by me. Until we can get a CEO on board who hopefully has a sustainable vision for the club and can address our recruitment concerns (Nick Daws for one) we're in limbo so survival at this time is all that matters.
  21. Bevis hasn't done much wrong this season so dropping would be harsh. I've even had him man of the match in the last couple of games. Casey's form has been indifferent although improved recently. Butcher is just back from injury and not up to speed yet.
  22. I'm basing it on his time with Motherwell. Couldn't care less what he did at Ross County.
  23. Yep, I agree with that. We need to give him the time to build his own team. I like SK and think that he can become a success at Motherwell.
