  1. Don't really see your logic. Why not hope for a winnable home draw in the next round then face one of those Glasgow clubs in the semis or the final? Surely those are worth more to us financially.
  2. Kit Watch We will be wearing our home kit for this match.
  3. Bevis' confidence certainly seems to be coming back and he had another really good game. He's now much more willing to drive out of defence with the ball which he's actually pretty good at. By contrast he's been passing the ball on / getting rid and immediately taking backward steps for the past few months.
  4. I actually think, strangely, that despite conceding five goals, their 'keeper looked really good, possibly their best player on the night with Dhanda. The two one-on-ones he did really well with and with Theo's dinked shot he came out and made himself big again, doing enough that the chance was missed. I'd put those chances down as good goalkeeping rather than bad misses by Bair.
  5. Please sign a new three year contract with us?
  6. Was giving it to Bair but after the 4th and 5th goals adding to an already solid performance there was only one winner.
  7. So it's him that fecked our pitch then?
  8. First time I've felt this all season but the referee has been pretty good so far.
  9. Possibly not a popular opinion but I'd keep O'Donnell beyond this season on a rolling contract on the understanding that he'll be backup cover across the defence rather than a first pick to start.
  10. Wasn't that the Scottish lad that was born in Spain, played for Real Madrid and was meant to be the next best thing?
  11. Stick around!

I get you, I'm not happy with this run either but sacking Kettlewell isn't the solution. Get well soon.

  12. Dom Thomas scored the winner for Queen's Park to beat ICT. Stuart McKinstrey played an hour. Darragh O'Connor scored two as Morton thrashed Dunfermline 5-0 away from home.
  13. I think that he is a very tidy player and certainly good to have in the squad but as soon as he gets near the 18 yard box it all falls apart for him. Defensively too as he has cost us a couple of goals by not staying tight to his man.
  14. Get a room you two, should be talking about the game this afternoon.
  15. I remember SK stating that in the week before Mika left he was in conversation with Arsenal and there was no mention of a recall.
  16. Folk were very quick to blame Arsenal for what happened but I did wonder if Mika wanted away.
  17. Presumably he suffered that injury whilst signing his extension clause for next season....
  18. Exactly this. I'll add the question, who's to say that Killie can afford it or that St. Mirren could afford what they offered? Motherwell didn't want to take a risk on our current finances so let's see what happens to Killie and other clubs that have paid over the odds in this window.
  19. I think that is true but there are at least two exceptions - Stuttgart who are owned by Mercedes and Wolfsburg owned by Volkswagen.
  20. Stephen Frail has clarified that he's still signed with us so, I guess, may feature towards the end of the season if his recovery goes well.
  21. To be fair to MJC he just seems to be a 'glass half empty' kind of chap.
  22. Not interested in any of that. Just my opinion that offering any player a pay-cut to stay on for another two years is very likely to see them leave.
