So it's the first MJC derby of the season, a day when his inner Motherwell Jambo Conflict reaches fever pitch. A day when claret becomes maroon.
Ordinarily, I'd be happy with bringing a point home from the capital but we need to start winning games, so 0-1.
Think the team of Steves that we had over a decade ago years ago was the most impressive - Hammell, Saunders, Craigan, Jenkins, Howarth (who?), Jones, Meecham (again, who?) and also including honorary Steve, the 'Goal Machine' Esteban Casagolda.
If this is genuine and if he's any good, I'd like to think that we would be able to offer him a better deal than those two. Also, we should be seen as the better option for young players looking to launch their career.
