  1. I was happy when Lamie re-signed for us after his Dundee contract was voided. He did well for us at times but, like other defenders, his confidence looked really low last season. We can only speculate why - tactics, no protection from midfield, injuries to himself and to others. If he moves on in the summer then the timing will be much better than last summer and I would wish him well wherever he goes.
  2. Yep, I managed to get one just before they sold out. The lovely Andy P bought it and posted it off to me.
  3. Don't have the inside scoop on this but hardly think that MJC's posts affect the team greatly.
  4. Something I wouldn't want to miss! Better start looking up flights into Glasgow just in case....
  5. Anyone have any idea what the Josh Morris situation is? Is he playing with the reserves or not at all? Surely we'll be looking to send him out on a season-long loan next season so that we don't have to waste any money on his wages.
  6. I liked him and he did fairly well at our lowest ebb this season so wish him all the best for the future.
  7. Presumably Stephen Robinson has already been alerted to this likely turn of events.
  8. Must have been that because no Hibs player touched the ball in the box at all.
  9. He looks as slow and unfit as Spittal but did fairly well when he came on.
  10. Between Goss, Cornelius and Furlong for me but Goss gets it for his goal and his block in the penalty area in the second half.
  11. Bullshit. He only ever played for Scotland as a youth. I agree that he hasn't been the best in previous appearances but on his current form he could be given another chance.
  12. Ollie McBurnie has been in great form for Sheff. Utd. this season too so he may have been worth another chance.
  13. I agree with you and of course no further action will be taken. Cuntwell's dive was just so amateurish that it deserves punishment. Was nice to see Richard Foster giving it the criticism that it deserved though.
  14. The difference is that those cheats normally have the sense to grab the correct body part. Cantwell was not struck in the face so he can be correctly accused of cheating. Same situation with the Spurs lady, no contact was made with her face so she was adjudged to have cheated because she grabbed her face.
  15. I wouldn't be surprised if Killie and Ross County get nothing from those games. Us and United should pick up at least a win apiece and it could go either way when we play each other.
  16. No, the disgrace is that we have three keepers with zero caps. Clarke ought to have been playing reserve keepers in friendlies, dead rubbers and qualifiers against the lowest opposition for the past 2-3 years at least.
  17. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64757356 This happened in England but proves that players can be punished for feigning injury. Not sure the SFA have the balls to do it to a h*n though.
  18. Midfield of Cornelius, Slattery, Goss and Spittal - this could be hard to watch but I have faith in the Kettle.
  19. Similar rule applies in football. I think if a footballer has done five years of schooling in Scotland then they are eligible to play for Scotland. Think this came up when Andrew Driver looked as though he might turn out to be a decent player.
  20. Glad to see Gunn in the squad as he has much more than "a hint of Scottish ancestry". His old man played for Scotland and he looks like a solid addition to the squad.
  21. SK has to lose a game soon so I would rather it was against this mob than Livi or Utd.
  22. Which is also slowly, side to side and making little progress at my age.
  23. Iacovitti pulled Butcher out of the way first. Wish the MFC TV commentator would stop saying Lacovitti by the way.
