  1. Right so the referee surely needed to do the 'no penalty' sweep of his arms as soon as he left the monitor before swiftly booking the player for simulation. Regarding the half time whistle, Casey clipped a shot towards the top far corner of the goal, it was tipped over for a corner and the referee did not allow it to be taken.
  2. I thought it was a clear penalty, Goss was clattered from behind in trying to get to the rebound from a KvV shot. It almost happened behind the referee's back if I remember correctly so can understand if he missed it but thought VAR would have asked him to have a second look.
  3. No-one really stood out today but thought Stephen O'Donnell was solid, reliable, linked up well on on the right and filled in comfortably on the left when needed.
  4. Was impressed with Blaney and Aitchison looked fairly sharp. Apart from that it was an awful game against a team unwilling to play anything that resembles football and officiated by typically inept individuals.
  5. Thought it was a foul by the fat lad for County for pulling Butcher's shirt outside the box so no idea where the drop ball in the box came from.
  6. Nicky Cadden and Devante Cole at Barnsley will now face Sheff Weds in the final.
  7. Yeah right, that's exactly what he did.
  8. Macron don't sponsor us anyway.
  9. Couple of goals for Dom Thomas as Queen's Park lost the first leg of the playoffs 4-3 to Partick Thistle who had Stephen Lawless playing for them.
  10. Yeah, absolutely would take the 20s-style shirt. Not so keen on the Arsenal one though.
  11. Think Carroll may have snapped the wee fud in half the way he was trying to be intimidating. Would've been funny but glad we've got Furlong for now.
  12. Meanwhile, Jake Hastie's career continues to nosedive as Hartlepool drop out of the English leagues.
  13. Could maybe have claret tassels instead of a claret band just to shake things up a bit?
  14. You're right, it's quite nice: https://www.footyheadlines.com/2023/03/dundee-fc-23-24-home-kit-released.html?m=
  15. Even then, only really one of the is a central defender. I'd like to see what Butcher can do for us in midfield next season.
  16. There's always a minority of arseholes everywhere you go. Ideally, those with the power to do something about should be able to stop such awful behaviour. Don't let it put you off contributing.

Doesn't that constitute the vegetarian option from that era?
  18. Aye, this season's kit hasn't suited Slattery too well, looks good on Blaney though.
  19. Isn't that the second time McGinn's done that this season?
  20. Okay, well that's good of them to help out.
  21. Was thinking the same, they're hoping for a Killie win today?
  22. I was happy when Lamie re-signed for us after his Dundee contract was voided. He did well for us at times but, like other defenders, his confidence looked really low last season. We can only speculate why - tactics, no protection from midfield, injuries to himself and to others. If he moves on in the summer then the timing will be much better than last summer and I would wish him well wherever he goes.
  23. Yep, I managed to get one just before they sold out. The lovely Andy P bought it and posted it off to me.
