I'm sure that it was one of the first steps in establishing a relationship between Villa and us, never heard anything more about it after Tarrant went back though.
Adam Cummins is back in Scotland with Queen's Park and knocked in the winner as part-timers beat Morton in the Cup.
John Sutton scored one and was involved in the extra-time winner as St. Mirren beat Albion Rovers.
McHugh scored another two, seems as though he is doing well at Championship level now so it will be interesting to see how he fares if Falkirk get promoted.
I'd agree with that Andy, keep such news separate so that those with no interest don't have to feel bothered by references to ex-players.
Yesterday was a good day for our ex-players with several involved in goals here and in England.
Oh well, makes a change from folk having a moan about us having no players in the Scotland squads I suppose.
Well done to Chalmers, he's done well this season and hopefully he'll continue to progress.
In Cummings' defence (and Gauld's with his pass) he had a great chance first half and the keeper made a great save to keep it out.
Wasn't too bad overall; on another night we would have scored a few but we didn't so we're out.
The referee was poor for disallowing Henderson's goal then awarding us a penalty when it clearly wasn't.
I was wondering when macron would give us one of their more quirky designs and I'm happy with this, although as many have said already white shorts would have been better. At the moment if I were to buy one of the tops then I think that it would be the away and probably with the sponsor on it unless it looks as though it's going to start peeling like cash converters always did.
....and for the record renege means revoke....
There's a suggestion that Skippy was offered reduced terms but, as far as I am aware, the contract offer was never withdrawn or revoked so, by definition, M.F.C. did not renege on the contract.
Nor me but it seems that it's Elvis Costello's real name.
McManus has a good scoring record with Morton but no-one else according to his statistics. He's only 21 and has played through the Scotland age groups so could yet develop into a decent player. The famous 'pre-season with McGhee under his belt' line can be trotted out....
I've found the same relative lack of information on the 'net and it's very disappointing. There was a very brief round-up of the Cup results (no details on the Well Ladies, just the score) on the bbc web-site earlier this week.
Why aren't the Well Ladies included in our own web-site? Some news, interviews and goals would be nice - perhaps a similar level of coverage to what the under-20s currently get. They are one of our teams and they ought not to be overlooked.
Robbie Muirhead has been released by Dundee Utd which is a strange one considering how highly rated he was at Killie. He was on a longterm contract too if memory serves.
