  1. Sad to see Morgyn Neill didn't make the grade, would have been good to have had a young centre half ready to challenge for a first team spot next season. Not familiar with twitterspeak but is there a suggestion in there that Cadden and Ferguson have been offered new deals?
  2. Sorry, been offline for a while as been organising our move back to the U.K. great news about the shirt and thanks to Iain for organising this again. As for the dinner it's a bit too soon so I've contacted Andy P already, just waiting for an answer.

    Baraclough Out

You mean someone who wouldn't be troubling the directors for too many win bonuses?

    Psycho

Thanks, got it now, the web-site defaulted to Thai and I ignored those bits thinking that they had nothing to do with a British web-site. Petition signed!

    Psycho

Must be a bit thick, where is the petition?
  6. Maybe Neill could make the step up next season? Don't know how his loan spell is going for him. Leaves us very light at the back though with the loanees gone and Kerr, Reid and Ramsden seemingly on their way out.
  7. Totally agree. Lawson could and really should have been a part of that but he's had an unfortunate run of injuries. He's back playing u-20s and, even if he features in all of the next five 1st XI matches, it may not be enough time to earn a new contract.
  8. Twardzik's here for another season too. I'd keep Kerr, McDonald, Sutton and (controversial) Law. I'd like to see Kerr have a full season at centre-back, he can clearly play when he's in his preferred position and is certainly no worse than McManus, Laing and O'Brien. McDonald will score goals for fun once he is settled as will Sutton with two natural wingers (Thomas and Johnson) in the team. Law looked hopeless under McCall but has somehow managed to turn his season around and looks a competent right back, so same as Kerr - play him in the right position.
  9. Ross County's form certainly is unprecedented but I wouldn't be at all surprised if they win the next two as well.
  10. Bridcutt's at Sunderland now? Never see him mentioned regarding a place in the Scotland squad anymore.
  11. Quite often kids of famous footballers fail to live up to expectations, I'm thinking Paul Dalglish, Darren Ferguson, Jordi Cruyff, Scott Gemmill, Gavin Strachan for example. As long as he doesn't have a ginger mullet though.
  12. Is McCall's kid still at the club? Does he show potential? Just wondering, like.
  13. Stunning photo! Where is that?
  14. Seems as if there is no option to go to the last page of any topic on the mobile version?
  15. Looks like I'll be heading home this year so - thanks to the new payment options - I might get Junior memberships for both of my kids as well as a Steel membership for myself. Hopefully I'll be able to pop up for a few games each season and contribute on matchdays too.

    Mfc Podcast

No idea what a podcast is or how to use my iphone (beyond tracking my bike rides and looking up the football) but this comment got me and The Wife has now set me up and I'll have a listen when I get home from work!
  17. ^Fcuk that!! Over-paid, one-footed, self-indulgent pansies. (Of course, I may be in the minority here....)
  18. Sad to see another 'well stalwart out the door though. Bobby Jenks has been at the club since I was a boy! Enjoy your retirement, you've earnt it.
  19. Selling club? More like 'releasing'club in recent years, I'm glad to see a change in attitude now and hopefully we can go back to being a selling club.
  20. Feel a bit sorry for the big man, he seemed to be regaining his confidence and was playing well then McCall bizarrely recalled Hollis for the last few games of the season.
  21. We can cause an upset and get a win. Erwin is due a goal, 1-0.
  22. This one? Looks a bit soft to me.
  23. Seems to be manager of the Army team in Bangkok at the moment, be interesting to see if he'd be willing to move to Scotland....
  24. With the peculiar signing of two centre-backs on loan I'd say we should go three at the back - Laing - O'Brien - McManus - and with Straker seemingly comfortable at both left full-back and left wing he should be well suited to a wing-back role. The weak link will be at right back though as who can bomb forward effectively from there? Not Kerr, so maybe young Watt?
