With regards to the Hearts players.... The first-teamers are either not good enough or they're getting paid too much for our budget. So how aboput a wee look at their u-20s team, might be some good prospects there that wouldn't cost much in wages. Would a development fee still be due though? Not sure if being in administration they might waive that right.

Know anything about that John Sutton bloke at Hearts? Seems to be a hard-working target man, not the most prolific nor that quick but links up well with his team-mates, might be a good replacement for Higg'o if he goes....

Even if it doesn't become a regular occurrance it would be nice to have something official from the club several months in advance so that overseas supporters could schedule trips home to coincide with it. All M.F.C. have to do is, at the start of the season, say "yeah there will certainly be a game some time in May" and that would be enough....
