  1. Possibly Nicky Cadden. After a slow start in the lower leagues he has been playing at a decent level in England for a number of years and has just moved to Hibs. Not saying he's made a name for himself but he has been playing in League One which is either a similar or a better level than the SPL depending on who you listen to.
  2. Calm the fuck down! I'll happily take a point.
  3. Yeah, thought so too but then Blaney switched of for a second which gave White a clear chance to score and that is what worries me about him.
  4. Looks like you forgot to cast your vote.
  5. Not much to choose from but Wilson did alright, slightly ahead of Oxborough.
  6. Mad start to the second half and McIver did so well winning the ball before shooting.
  7. Miller's played poorly so far and this is what happens: very little creativity from the other midfielders.
  8. He's still a Well fan and did a lot of good for the club so he should always be welcome - just no longer in a professional capacity.
  9. Yeah, if you want to. They have a point though. If it comes down to the number of lines on the team sheet how could the officials read all nine names on our bench but only eight on Thistle's?
  10. McGinn, Kaleta and Sparrow all played an hour for the B team. Looks like Luca Ross will miss the game, possibly concussed as he had to go off after a clash of heads.
  11. I remember him getting booked for unsporting behaviour and genuinely don't understand what he did wrong. The reaction of the opposition team was a bit over the top and possibly swayed the referee to reaching for a yellow card.
  12. Humous[sic] is neither Australian nor Greek.
  13. Transfermarkt have his current club as Anorthosis Famagusta in Cyprus with Kaiyne Woolery.
  14. I agree with all of that and would emphasise your last point. What could happen if we sack another manager mid-season? We might spend two or three transfer windows and a lot of money on getting rid of SK's signings and waiting for the new manager to mould his own team and style of play. Seem familiar?
  15. It won't be a surprise to anybody that daft handshakes improve your chances of success in this country.
  16. Came off the bench for Falkirk today.
  17. Really? By who? You and a few others maybe. The rest of us non-pantwetters will wait and see once all of the transfers are in / out and the new squad has had a few months to settle in.
  18. Another ex-ICT player who didn't exactly put a lot of effort in despite having an incredibly high opinion of himself - Iain Vigurs.
  19. Another for Dunachie, 3-2 Clyde.
  20. Yes, but to a far lesser extent I would imagine as Spencer was on EPL wages when he came to us.
  21. Not sure how well-known this is but, despite his huge salary, he didn't cost the club a penny. According to Pat Nevin, John Boyle wanted him as a big signing and a signal of intent but Nevin disagreed as breaking the wage structure would have a detrimental effect on the rest of the squad. Boyle's solution was to pay Spencer's wage out of his own pocket.
