I think that we normally get it right in that respect but I would like to mention Nicky Cadden as one that got away.

Callaghan can go right now. I'd offer extentions to McGinn, Casey, Ox, Ebiye and Paton. Slattery should be given the chance to earn an extention. Davor has done well at times but I'd like to think that we can find a more effective defensive midfielder. I'd also offer Watt a contract and see if he's willing to take a pay cut to come back. The other loans can go home.

Do you think that booing and abusing the referee will have helped him to do his job with a clear head? The way that referees are treated by the crowd, by footballers and coaching staff is just embarrassing. He made a mistake, so dropping down a level for a bit and receiving guidance from his employers should help him.

I'd strongly disagree with this. I went to a similar event here on Guernsey, listened to an hour of anecdotes and had a good chat with him afterwards as the token Motherwell supporter. I also bought his book, which he very kindly signed for me. Having read it, I really can't find any fault in him. The blame seems to lie with Boyle himself as a well-intentioned but fairly clueless owner and his holding company Hamilton.

The ball seemed to hit his chest first then his arm which I thought wasn't handball but can totally see why he got a red as VAR wouldn't have shown that the referee made a clear mistake.
