  1. I remember there being talk of the club receiving a fee for him at that time.
  2. O'Donnell's crosses in recent games needed someone like this on the end of them. Wilson's a good crosser too and Halliday from set pieces should create plenty chances. We've also got the three new wingbacks so it will be good to see what they offer as well.
  3. I believe he was miffed that, having been signed on loan as a first choice creative midfielder, we then signed James McFadden.
  4. I wonder if Danny Baker still follows us and if he was ever invited up to watch a game.
  5. SODs played well first half but was a wee bit loose second half. Wilson and Halliday were both excellent and Stuperevic looks ready for a start but Miller gets my vote.
  6. Halliday is playing really well, looks like SK knows what he is doing.
  7. Moses needed to throw his left foot at that.
  8. Stuparevic or Wells would have been more attack-minded options.
  9. Two up top by the looks of it - Moses and Robinson.
  10. There's seats on the club board up for grabs and we could do with someone as level-headed as yourself driving the club forward.
  11. Completely forgot to update this, mainly because I couldn't get the photo of me and Pat small enough to comply with site rules. Anyway, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, Pat's a great speaker, took loads more questions than the compère wanted him to and stuck around for ages at the end. I was able to have a good chat with him and so did my mates who are from Dundee, Fife, Glasgow, all over really. A few of us bought his book too which I have now read and I have to say that I feel very differently about him now. John Boyle needs to take a larger portion of the blame along with the money men at his company Hamilton. Pat seemed to be an honest, kind and intelligent person who was as upset and annoyed as anyone when the cutbacks started. Also, Pat's insights into some of the behind the scenes stuff like Billy Davies' mental state, Eric Black's coaching ability, Terry Butcher putting David Kelly in his place and many others was really eye-opening. All-in-all, I understand the hate but he put his heart and soul into the club for those three or so years.
  12. Hoping to head up to Scotland next month and tempted to get the away top.
  13. Wow, out of the frying pan and into the fire.
  14. "Todorov is primarily a centre forward, he can however be utilised as a centre back; two-footed, he has the ability to score with his right foot, as well as his left foot, he is a big, powerful strong player and good in the air." Well this takes the fabled 'can play anywhere across a front three' requirement to new levels.
  15. The Herald are reporting those numbers too. Great bit of business and credit to SK and the team that worked with him behind the scenes on analytics.
  16. Dundee signed Simon Murray who I would have happily seen in claret and amber.
  17. Surely not, that would be Celtic levels of stupid if so.

A trophy shelf in the boardroom should suffice.
  19. Kipre went for a good few quid as well.
  20. I read someone on here that Stuparevic is best suited to the 10 role so we'll see if he gets the opportunity to play there.
  21. Regarding Hegyi, all we could really see is that he came out of the penalty area quickly to sweep up loose balls and he occasionally kicked long to our forward players. Two improvements straight away.
  22. Hat-trick for Curtis Main as Dundee beat Bonnyrigg 7-1 and Ross MacIver scored as Falkirk beat Dundee United 2-0.
  23. You have your answer. First minute of the first game "Sneddon, who's not in the squad today".
  24. I believe that the name was bastardised from L'Oeuf Island and it is located in French Polynesia.
