  1. No idea how he got away with that one. No VAR required. https://www.skysports.com/football/video/30998/13088777/west-brom-defender-cedric-kipre-makes-controversial-save-with-his-hand
  2. I'd keep Mugabi too, as well as O'Donnell but strictly as a backup and an experienced head in the squad. I don't exactly know what Nicholson does yet but he comes across as a genuinely nice chap, a good talker and technically more than good enough so I'd like him to stay if he wants to. Really not sure about Slattery, he came through pre-season lean and playing really well but soon slipped back into his sluggish routine of looking for free kicks. He'll possibly be offered a short term deal so that he can rehabilitate.
  3. Sorry, must be missing something. What's the connection between this chap and Obileye at Livi? He looks an exciting prospect though. Most of the goals in the video seemed to involve horrendous goalkeeping so he should do well in the SPL.
  4. Released by Ålesund in January and been training with us according to the article.
  5. Thanks. He eligible for Jamaica too but but he seems set on playing for Canada. His two caps were in friendlies so he could change if he wished.
  6. That was the clip that stood out for me too. Lundstram is a big unit himself and a strong, honest player so to see Bair bouncing him was great. No chance Bair has any Scottish blood is there?
  7. I honestly think that if we keep this level of performance and if we avoid any further injuries then we can pick up four wins before the split. Home v Aberdeen, St. Mirren and Hibs, away to Dundee. Would be very happy with nine or ten points though.
  8. https://guernseyliteraryfestival.com/speakers/pat-nevin So one of the guest speakers is Pat Nevin and I'm thinking of going. Not because I'm interested in his book as it's not the sort of thing that I normally read but just to listen to him talk about his life. Thinking of the opportunity to ask questions at the end, what would any of you like to ask him if you could?
  9. Thing is he's been right more often than not and his predictions have been realistic rather than doom and gloom.
  10. Nice idea but just watch the already meagre sponsorship and TV money diminish further.
  11. Has he passed his driving test yet?
  12. Absolutely agree with this. The only player that I thought got pass marks last night was Jamie Brandon but we really don't need to go bargain basement shopping at a doomed club.
  13. He may actually want to stay. He's settled, happy, just had a kid, so the improved terms that will be on offer might be enough for him.
  14. Nearly gave it to Mugabi as he was solid all night but gave it to Nicholson as he was busy in the midfield and scored a vital goal too.
  15. Mibbe but he can't cross with either foot though.
  16. Looks like he still needs his Ma to dress him as his shorts are on backwards.
  17. That'll be O'Donnell that can't cross and Nicholson that's just shite who have drawn us level.
  18. Yeah, I know, that's why I said on paper. Especially thinking back to pre-season when the much-maligned Bair was signed along with an unknown Wilkinson and an injury-prone Obika. It really looked like we would struggle for goals and that County would have that edge over us. Fortunately it hasn't worked out that way so far.
  19. And yet looking at Ross County's front three of White, Brophy and Murray with Dhanda behind them, I think that on paper that's arguably a better attacking lineup than what we have.
  20. You must know exactly how he feels then.
  21. Not just because of the damage, generally speaking I mean. Just off the top of my head if the club were allowed to charge uglies fans an extra fiver per lice-ridden head then that would be £22,500 more in gate receipts. The McLean Stand holds 4,500 I think? Other away fans can pay the same as the home fans as there are significantly less of them, they have further to travel and they're slightly less odious so we'd want to encourage them to come to Fir Park.
  22. Is there any reason - legally or otherwise - why the club can't charge away supporters more than home supporters? Something the club should consider for those smelly bastards and the teddy bears too.
  23. We really need to win but, more than that, we really can't afford to lose. Playing on carpet is challenging at the best of times but with points so important for both teams that no-one is going to want to risk making a mistake. Could be a cagey, defensive game so 1-1 is a fair prediction. I'm going for 2-1 'Well though.
  24. Yet there are folk complaining that he was subbed. I agree that this wasn't his best game and that Celtic had a lot of crosses in from that side.
