  1. Not keen on Pearson (due to the acrimonious departure), but he was a good player for us, he IS what we need, and I'm damn glad to have him in as a means to an end.
  2. Do I win a coconut or something for this?
  3. I predict that this game will be called off. Failing that, 1 each would do me right now.
  4. Good post. No wonder you can feel the rage rise.
  5. That '96' at the end of his name just depresses me. Good god, professional footballers born 5 years after me. Seems mad.
  6. Nothing. The last Motherwell player he praised played in the original petrol blue.
  7. Bugger it. 3-0 Motherwell. Something to tick, give a bit of hope and then slap us about the chops again next week.
  8. Neilsen can't even make the first team in a relegation threatened side 18 months later, while Twardzik is a guaranteed starter in a premier league team 18 months later. Hey, this 'pick two random things and jam them together to make your point' thing is fun.
  9. Put him on ignore. Saves the irritation.
  10. Didn't think we were that bad today. Poor on the attack, but looked generally more interested in applying themselves to the hard work, Ainsworth massively aside. Law again impressed me, and if he continues to improve, he'll certainly do us a job. I don't think Reid is much cop, but I don't think his attitude can be questioned, and we'll need that in this battle. Thought all three young players were very good, especially Thomas, and want him to start asap, but would agree that he's an asset to be protected.
  11. Urgh. I'll be there. I expect a horsing if they're halfway competent. That's about all I've got to say.
  12. Well, this thread makes it easy to find folk mainly interested in hurling abuse at certain players.
  13. Slowest team in years. Least inventive in years. Full of cat shit like Zfa and McHugh, as we have zero left midfielders. Also zero effort for trying something new. Hideous. Motherwell are landed with so many 30+ never has beens, i can't even see a win
  14. Yep. Second highest assists provided in the season where we finished second. Useless and hopeless cunt, so he is. Jesus fuck...
  15. Meh, I'm indifferent to him, but if you listen to/read a number of opinions, he's on a one man campaign to ruin us from the inside.
  16. 2-1 Motherwell, Law with one, and McManus with the other.
  17. I suspect you're on the money here. Hoping for a win, but I reckon that this is a draw waiting to happen.
  18. Fire him in the damn bin. He's a total imposter of a footballer, and always has been.
  19. From what I've heard, this won't be happening again. Angol will be what we're stuck with.
  20. Josh Law for myself; I thought he was excellent today. Composed, hard working, and made a real effort to make things happen. I can also fully see cases for Ojamaa, O'Brien (bar the hideous passing), and to a degree, Lasley.
  21. Not desperately in love with fan ownership, but as an idea, I hope it succeeds. This lengthier timescale increases my optimism, admittedly, as I can see it start to work, and perhaps get a bit more invested in it.
  22. Excellent work, folks, and delighted that the new manager made the effort as well.
  23. Honking first half, with a big improvement in the second, due to actually playing two wide men and having that extra bit of pace. Ainsworth made a massive difference. Gutted to lose the late goal, but so be it. Thought Law was outstanding today compared to the rest (bar Twardzik, again). Vigurs had a rancid first half, but the folk cheering when he was subbed at half time? Fuck off. I don't have anything else to add, just fuck off.
  24. Largely in the hope that our caretaker manager would grow a set of fucking nuts and drop Sutton, who's been worse than awful this year, especially considering that it's clear that Erwin has more to offer just now. Every striker has to start somewhere.
