    St Mirren

Exactly this. Both standouts today. Kerr looked decent at centre back as well.
  2. Grim viewing. Great result. That's good enough for me just now.
  3. I take it back. Reid would do, to be fair.
  4. We don't have another option at left back at all.
  5. Why bother? He's utterly infallible.
  6. Motherwell nil, St Mirren four. We're an unfit shambles and we're carrying half a squad of injuries.
  7. Always good to see fresh faces. Especially if they're ex-well, ex-Rangers or ex-Bradford. That makes them ulra fit and fresh...
  8. 8th. With hideously slow play, and Lasley and Hammell whipped until injured and McCall is forced to bring in some younger players before 65 minutes have passed. No stress of relegation, and doddering between 5th and 8th, mind you. Bugger all in the cups. Horrible games v Accies, in which, we drop at least 5 points over 3 games. Fraser Kerr, due to a spate of injuries winding up in his actual position, and looking like a decent footballer. After folk are fit, he'll be hurled back to right wing reserve. My head will potentially actually explode trying not to vocally lose the plot at Angol. McCall will leave at the end of the season. And that's fine. I think this is one too many for him and the club. He's more than earned it, and any chat of sacking is a bit much for me just now, but this should be his last.
  9. Absolute fucking disaster of an evening. Saw it coming after the shambles of last Thursday though. Feel as if I've been furious about basic fitness for years now. Also, Fraser fecking Kerr at right mid. I just can't lose the nut at this again.
  10. Well, that was ugly. I think we're streets ahead in terms of quality, but utter lack of fitness and game intelligence cost us. Some work to be done, certainly. I don't see it being done for next Thursday mind you. Impressive stuff from Erwin, mind you. I look forward to seeing more from him.
  11. Come on Bangor! I might actually be able to see us away in Europe this year!!
  12. Now, Maka has a point here. Also, 6 figures for Anier!? I was a fan, but was he really that much better than, say, Richie Foran?
  13. I don't think he's that bad for a young player. I think he'd get a bit more patience if he were Adam 'Coatbridge' Cummins, mind you.
  14. Indeed. I wish I could say you were fighting the good fight...
  15. In all fairness, there may be an element of both good fortune for Twardzik and good performance from Twardzik. Either way, he's our new number one. Bring it.
  16. For various reasons I haven't seen Twardzik. His record stands up though, so fine. Law's brother. We'll see. Hammell, fuck yes. Optimistic.
  17. Good lord. A sensible view of Scottish football's potential space for progression on television. To the dungeons with you. I agree with all points made, but would add a slight change to #4. Less inane talk. There is a market for football fans who want to listen to quality analysis which is just not served with the current humdrum, neanderthal chatter which we get.
  18. Oh cock. I never did contribute to this last season. Apologies Iain.

    Aberdeen

The big Geordie man. One of my favourite ever Well players and dominant here.
  20. You could very likely guess if you had a look. It's quite simple. The folk who abuse MJC weekly for daring to consider less than a Well win and clean sheet. Not yourself, admittedly. You seem very much a realist. I certainly don't plan on naming posters. Everyone's opinion is their own and as long as they can justify it, I won't be slagging it. There are accounts I like more/less week by week, but I respect their opinion nonetheless. I don't expect us to win every game (as with a number of fans) or get battered weekly (MJC/Steelboy) but I don't find pessimism any more irksome than optimism. Not the time to be arguing amongst fans though. Tremendous achievement by the team.
  21. I do. It's nice to hear a few perspectives. MJC's constant expectation of defeat is no less wearing than some folk's constant happy clapping. It takes all types.
  22. Awwwww man. That was fucking immense. So proud to be a Well fan today. Get it right up Aberdeen, Dundee Utd and the full mainstream media. YAAAAAS!
  23. Best of luck for the folk travelling up for this abysmal kick off time. Cheer the boys on. Heart says 2-1 Well, head says 1-1 Aberdeen, with them strangling the life out the game. Big handsome to score either way.
