    Craig Reid

Want - Craig Reid, barely average lower league defender. Do not want - Garry Kenneth, proven SPL centre half. To clarify, this is not a mocking status. I'm all for what I've stated. Just interesting the dichotomy between the paying fan and the established manager. And trust me, often the fan is correct.
  2. Same. But I welcome it. Our men are all for the pressure.
  3. JT's wife and Wallace's son. Two stories which touched me greatly. Glad the club helped in whatever way they could and the best of wishes to both people and families involved with battling these horrific health issues.
  4. Love big Hutch. He'd definitely be making my personal favourite 11. Great to watch and has been a tremendous servant. Just hope he doesn't end up with the scum.
  5. Oh jesus, make that x3. Madness
  6. Actually enjoyed that game. Good battle, good points.
  7. I struggle to decide whether MJC is more or less tedious than the folk whining about MJC. (Or the folk whining about the folk whining, before some smartarse points that out!) On topic, 2-2. We'll burst into a lead, and concede 2 late goals.
  8. Crikey. We must have incredibly long seasons if he's made 47 appearances since 2012, and has still been out for 30 games each year. Kerr is an able deputy, but a first choice CB or RB he is not.
  9. Agreed. This and his frequently excellent first touch are his best strengths. It is, however, very weird when I realise that he's really been the only Well left back I've known. (Paterson and Murphy being the shorter term others)

    Dundee Utd

Was going to say that voting the keeper after a 5-1 thrashing was mental, but I've now seen the highlights. Eh...aye. Gunnar's the man on this occasion.
  11. A season in which we play some attractive football and don't come near administration is a good season for me. Finishing second or third is nice, but it's still second or third. I really want a cup for it to be a great season, with the league position less of a priority. I've enjoyed seeing Motherwell play in Europe, and the highs and lows associated with that, but I'm relatively sure I'll struggle to remember a second place finish, despite it being a damn impressive achievement.
  12. That's a scary prospect. I'd reckon, knowing McCall, he'll go with experience, and a backline of Hammell, McManus, Reid and Ramsden.
  13. I said those first two lines verbatim earlier today. Very odd. That aside, I don't see the need for a big stramash. I reckon we'll still finish top 3, and that'll do for Europe. Not going mental that we won't catch an Aberdeen team which seems to have been built on a mountain of unsustainable cash. ETA hammered the bookies today, so that may be shading my reaction to something rather more positive than a scudding would nornally earn.
  14. Whoah. The presence of a badass is indubitable.

    Celtic

    Jack Leitch. Storming performance.
  16. Shut up, you utter tit... Great result. Thought we'd binned it at the end due to a lack of fresh legs, but damn happy to get the late equaliser. Thought Leitch was outstanding, along with a number of others. Great pen save as well.
  17. 5-0 Celtic. We look ponderous when we try and defend, we tend to attempt some nonsense formation against them (far less of an issue at FP admittedly), Lasley, Carswell and Hammell out, Angol existing, and Celtic being pretty ruthless this season all suggest a pumping to me. Still, if we manage an early goal, who knows. Sitting back sloppily and attempting to hold it may work. Just want this game past with and onto the last 4.
  18. 6 points. Beat Aberdeen, beat ICT. 12 goals against over the 5 games, and 6 for.
  19. Well. This sitting in on a lead is starting to bite us on the arse. Wait...did I say that after Kilmarnock..?
  20. These are storming. Love this type of art anyway, so seeing it Motherwell based is excellent.
  21. Honking performance against a pish team. Why have we started this new trend of attempting to win the first half and then sitting back and barely venturing out in the second? Been going on for weeks and iy caught us out badly today. Ainsworth didn't bother turning up, Sutton got no meaningful service, we allowed Eremenko plenty of time to link play at his pleasure, Angol was as dire as ever, and we conceded two goals through slack minded defending. Plus points were Vigurs and Nielsen. ETA and Reid. Mistake aside, he at least looked like he could be arsed playing.
  22. No point in talking about it as the media will make damn sure McInnes wins it.
