  1. Iain, apologies. I haven't been able to send the money over as yet. No idea when I'll be able to, but I will at some point. Probably better to take me off the list, and I'll get it paypal'd as soon as I can!
  2. That Vigurs interview made me smile. That's the kind of trash talk promos I want from our latest recruits.
  3. We're not going to sign Dougie Imrie. I have that much faith in McCall. Surely not.
  4. Well. That's...not at all creepy.
  5. http://www.football365.com/news/21554/8754144/A-League-winning-coach-Graham-Arnold-rejects-Sheffield-United-job I wonder if similar factors shed some additional light on McCall's decision to stay with us.
  6. I'd agree with this, on looking back at some of the people we've been linked with in the past. I'm just needing to calm down and give it time, I think.
  7. I'm still concerned that we seem to be largely connected with SPL players. For me, our success of late has been by signing players from other areas (down south/further afield), as opposed to the decline of teams like Hearts and Hibs, who've been hoovering up the deals which we seem to be looking at just now. I'm aware that it's not as simple as "they've played in England, get them", but I do feel we should be looking elsewhere.
  8. I like the new design idea, but the change of ball is just a wee step too far for me.
  9. I can confirm that my dad had a great time at the sponsors night in my place. Loved getting to talk away to the squad, got a fully signed top, and photos with a good few of the squad. He was sitting for most of the night with Adam Cummins and Steven Saunders, and said that it was a good laugh throughout, and everyone was dead welcoming. I'll fire a donation for this year over after Thursday coming.
  10. Ojamaa, but I reckon the criticism of O'Brien is over the top bollocks, to be honest.

    New Away Kit

I really like it, but I've got a huge soft spot for a black away kit. Agreed that the white trim should be a claret and amber band though.

    Celtic

Hateley for me. Great all round performance covering the backline. Bizarre, however, that it took Celtic 75 minutes to work out that we were essentially playing without a right back, because of his screening role. Ojamaa, Lasley, Hutchison and Ramsden all also excellent.
  13. It's almost too much to hope that we beat them twice in a row, but I'm going there anyway. 2-0 Higdon double.
  14. POTY 1 - Higdon 2 - Law 3 - Randolph/Hutchinson. YPOTY Ojamaa Goal Higginbotham scissors kick. Edit - Signing - Faddy. All of these for the reasons above. Very little to add.
  15. I can't really see Humphrey doing well at a bigger club. Much as I like him, I think there are a good few problems in his game that can be overlooked at this level, but would cause issues in a team with higher expectations (albeit we're starting to look lofty ourselves!)
  16. I love black strips. Would be delighted to see a black well kit.
  17. Love the socks, shorts are smart. Top...eh...collar is weird, don't like the sleeves, and the badge is too high. Absolutely not sure, but it'll very likely grow on me.
  18. Or, we could accept any out of contract buffoon going? The barbed comments have lost a wee bit of steam for me...
  19. Yes, good grief, yes. I fucking LOVE that strip. Definitely my favourite, although the petrol blue effort is close.
  20. I'm a tad worried to be linked with players like McGowan and Samson, as I'd consider our success over the last few years to have been largely due to bringing in interesting players from the lower English leagues, rather than bringing in players across the local divides. Teams like Aberdeen and Hibs have brought in players from other Scottish teams and seem to sink ever further down the league, whereas we look further afield, unearthing gems and moving ever upward. With the odd player, such as Higdon, being the exception to the rule.
  21. My favourite strip (as a well fan born in 1991), has been (outwith this year's third strip), the strip with the white collar from around 3 years ago. Utterly gutted I grew/flabbed out of it, and would instantly buy a new one.
  22. He'll stay or we'll get some tasty cash. What's not to like?

    Dundee Utd

Such a dominant performance. Ojamaa and McFadden both impressed, but Higgy's pair of goals get it for him. (The first being a sodding peach swayed it)
  24. Gaag, that is fucking wonderful.
