  1. I'm going for 4-2, with a mixture of great attacking play and semi-comedic defending. Oh, and Higdon for the away hat-trick, after a Faddy equaliser.
  2. I would be gutted to see him go to Celtic, because I would hate to see him associated with that filth. Due to his standing with, and conduct toward, Motherwell, I certainly wouldn't say that it would tarnish his status here, and I'd certainly never boo him, whichever shirt he appeared in at Fir Park, but I really hope that he doesn't go there.
  3. 4-0. No hassle. And I'm still predicting the Ojamaa goal to come.
  4. The idea that we can still win the title, in theory, in April, is hilarious.
  5. Through gritted teeth, that deserves a well done.

    Dundee Game

Probably mistaken, but I always think we look a little sluggish and off the boil after a break. If we were playing a half decent team, I'd suggest we could get caught out, but this Dundee side are truly rancid. 3-1 well, Higdon, Faddy and Ojamaa, to finally get a goal.
  7. Again, McCall will sign. No worries there. Our backroom must be amazing. Bar a very exceptional couple, we always get credit for being welcoming and supporting to players. I sit in the east stand, and this welcome can frequently be less than warm and less than patient, so we must just exude a good atmosphere.
  8. The original big issue about Law was over a lip service move to Sevco anyway. Sensible of him not to burn the bridge, but he was never going to take it over a good move (likely, and deserved), or another year in a decent shop window with us (possible, and unlucky, really)
  9. As much as the family stories get me, it's stuff like this that really chokes me up. Another mark of a really good guy. As was said before, raising a glass.
  10. I love Higdon. I love his ungainly, flabby ways. I love the goals. I love the celebrations. I seriously love the way he tries to drag the performance up by talking to teammates. I love that he seems to actually enjoy this football nonsense. I remember there being an enormous Shellic hero, John Hartson, who played in an apparently better team. They still love him. Why is any real Motherwell fan still giving Higdon stick?
  11. I read it. I specialise in talking bollocks. This guy has transcended that level, however, and I'm labouring.
  12. Come on leaps and bounds this season. I like him, and I'm damn happy he's signed on.
  13. RIP Auld Yin. Always enjoyed the posts. Despite what seems to have been a damn hard time, a lot of positivity a lot of us can learn from. Thoughts to the family.
  14. This is the main reason I'd swap the European adventures for a cup win. As much as I've loved seeing the foreign teams come to Fir Park (or the Excelsior ), the trips abroad have always been too much of a stretch, so I've been watching on shit internet streams, and it's just not had an immense effect on me the same way as people who've gotten to see us play in various countries. Don't get me wrong, I've been delighted with the performances, and especially league placements, and I can see the other side of the argument, but for me, I'd trade it for a cup win in any of the recent disappointing finals. Having said that, I've never seen us win a cup either (too young), so that clearly swings my opinion one way to begin with.
  15. Hate this new plan. Hate being shat on financially. Hate feeling like we're the bottom rung on a ladder of importance to football. Hate stupid kickoff times. Hate being messed about like the Old Firm/television's plaything. Love watching Motherwell. The last one crushes the rest for me. We are Motherwell, I am a season ticket holder, and I will be next season.

McFadden. Duh. Although I'm liking Carswell yet more every game
  17. Got to love being wrong sometimes. Mon the well.
  18. It gets worse when you realise she's coming over to his, but he still has to wait until he gets home to watch the game. Conflicting facts there.
  19. Not his biggest fan, but he's done well for us, and I'd be happy to see him stay. And he will. Calm it, folks.
  20. Damn near had an impact on me attending. Friday night bloody football.
  21. Thought Hibs looked utterly rancid yesterday, in one of the worst games I've ever sat through. 2-0 Motherwell, Higdon and McFadden.
  22. That article has really riled me.
